I've seen the vids, and enjoy them. But this thread is an example of why there is such a huge riff between the drifting scene and everyone else. Being someone who doesn't drift, and owned a 240 before most Americans knew what drifting was, it pains me to read this thread. It's an example of everything that is wrong with the community as a whole right now.

Just out of curiosity, why does everyone get so bent when someone slides on the street ?

I realize that there are, and always will be a few that ruin it for the masses. Yes it is dumb at times and not the safest thing to do. But it seems as if people take the chastising too far. Did you go to a track before you tried drifting ?

And I love the people who say "its people like that who get us pulled over 3 or 4 times a week"... right, it has nothing to do with your 4in blast pipes, or sparks from your low ass missile when you change lanes. If you dont want to get pulled over for profiling, daily a normal car.

anyway it does not really matter, and this will get over looked or piss someone off and I will get flamed...
