I don't know how you calculate your scale of ballerness, but they're both fantastic classic JDM wheels (or should wait until they're older to call them that?)

Help me fit these!
Work Equips
Front: 18x12 -20 offset Rear: 18x13 -7 offset Price: $1800++ This is the first serious set of wheels i may buy, and to be honest I've never put anything bigger than a 10.5" rim on a s14. For you wheel-whore gurus out there, would I be unadvised to put these on an s-chassis? Would I need 20mm front 50mm rear over fenders for the car as well? What other sorts of additions to the car would I need to use these things? Thanks Mike This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 640x480. |

With 12 inch front's you'll need to tub the fenders, as well as getting some sort of PS cooler. Your pump will love you for it.
I'm not 100% on S14's but I doubt even 20mm fronts will fit those. And the 50mm rears I'm sure could fit those wheels, with enough -camber and tire stretch.

30mm fronts + tubs + bow the fender out to make it bigger then a 30mm fender.
Rear 50mm + bow it out to be a little bigger. Other then that good luck, 12Js up front is madness. I thought I was bad enough for putting some low offset 10s up front on my stock fenders, lol. Shows what I know.

17x8 +6 in front, 17x9 +13 rear, about 2.5* of camber on an S14.... fit? Flush? Definitely clears coilovers... What do you think?

Disagreed.
You can be flush with x8, it's all about the offset (and the car). Then again, since this is Zilvia, a forum that caters to RWD Nissans, I guess it's not totally unfair to say that x8 doesn't belong.

I ran spacers for a -10 up front and +5 out back 215/40 up front and 235/45 out back....a 235/40 would have been a better set up.

With a negative offset/spacers, yes, you can make it flush.
Just don't stretch any tires on there. EDIT: Proof above. Last edited by nismo tuned s14; 12-15-2008 at 06:43 PM.. Reason: got beat, son! |

Run bigger wheels
Less Camber Stretch more Roll the fenders nice and smooth Only then can you reach good fitment .......or be stupid like most of us and run wheels way too big for the car and make yourself flex over fenders to fit them
