not to rain on your parade but you do realize the 78-79 Datsun 510's did not have independent rear suspension. They were solid axle and really are not consider all that special. In fact its was a feeble attempt by Nissan to capitalize on the legend of the original PL510 namesake.

Yeah i noticed. i like the car though, doesnt matter to me.,
I got a ca18det , just thought id ask if that would be a possible good swapp for it?
