Car was hooked up to dyno saturday for the initial start up tune. after about 4 hours it was taken off and waiting one more dyno session before I start driving it on the road. Gotta put a lot of miles on the car for 2-3 weeks, then mid august I got for the Full 6 hour tune. Both high/low boost!

Overboard, overpriced & over EXPECTATIONS!!! Don't let anybody tell you that you did anything wrong with this build... You did it YOUR way and in my opinion, that's the only way! I'm a diehard fan of S-chassis & I will ALWAYS have at least one in my driveway for the rest of my life and this my friend could add to my collection any day. I'm glad it's turned out the way it did, nothing negative I could or would say about it.

Thanks! I'm a HUGE nissan guy myself, I have this car, another s14 w/s14 sr swapped car (318whp) a '04 350Z and a '11 cube. I always believe in just building something that will make you happy, and while this car is not everyone's taste....its fine. I only used parts that I liked regardless of name branding whoring. Tomei is by far my favorite japanese company. Close second to Advan. The version 2 rims and just........perfect! Everytime I see these rims I fall in love again. best part is that no one really has them. I'm not a big volk guy, mostly because you see them on every car (ok.....not EVERY car) but its hard to have a 240sx and be different. I'm glad on how this engine and parts came out. just going to throw some fun miles on it for 2 weeks then Go for the big power. Low boost (24psi) will net me around 525whp and with the hybrid turbo, its going to just be a real FUN car. Im afraid to see what High boost (34-37psi) does!

It was supposed to be Carizzma flat black. was a mix up and is dupont flat black. After wekfest in chicago it will be gloss metallic black.

Excellent build man, seems like no cost was spared, the clutch debate. Let the haters hate, everybody is gonna swear theirs is the best and they are the fastest no matter what you do. Besides, I'm sure your sponsor is happy you are loyal to them. Far to many people get free parts and screw the companies over.

Take this with pride, I swapped an SR in my S chassis, and I've debated tossing it and going RB. But seeing builds like this make me keep the SR and build it. Well done and very clean car. Dont worry about the haters, its your car and as long as you are happy with it, thats all that matters.

Thanks man. its been a long road, looking forward to this wekfest thing. I will be stopping by (Got my buddy with his '99 GTR in that show, along with some others) The RB swap is great. Im just a SR guy, I know I went overboard with some parts of the engine. BUT.......I wanted something different and something else not done yet. Which is hard in the s13/14/15 community. I'm just glad there are soooo many nice 240's out there. Ill post some videos up between tomorrow and friday. nothing to crazy (im still breaking her in, and I've seen this site delete videos)

I noticed the RPMevents......I was supposed to be at the chicago one last year (july 10th) was hoping rich would do another one in chicago again!

Hah! You know Rich? Yea Im one of the other owners of RPM and we are in talks of doing a Chicago show this year (maybe another Halloween themed) but there are some big moves in the background we are waiting to hear on. I'll def keep you guys updated though when/if that happens.

Btw are you going to Streetlifetour in Ohio on Sept 17th? Its another show im producing and def suppose to be tons of people there!

Looks great man but I hope that you balanced the rotating assembly to keep vibration to a minimal. This is just one step which people over look while building a short block. Its not crucial in most cases but it helps to extend the reliability of the bottom end while at higher rpms. This is a great build non the less.

yeah, Was talking to rich about doing a chicago show since I couldnt make it last year. as for the street life tour, i go every year its always a good time rob said someone else was handling it and thank god! I look forward to meeting you and the event this year maybe get some food.

yes. balanced and blueprinted and ATI crankshaft dampener. I looked at every area and addressed it. just putting miles on it, and will be fully dyno tuning it the first of september. will be posting some slow video tuesday or wednesday.

this engine right now has 360whp at 12psi and rev limited to 5500rpms until i finish break in.

Good deal. the only thing they needed to change was who ran the car show. I saw a sloppy a/c shelby kit car beat my friends '99 R34 GTR. the guy who did it the last two years was a cool guy......just didnt know anything and the judges where in their 50's. Cool, I go to shows for fun and to hang out with friends. My car hasn't ever won awards, well.......1 dyno challange. My roll time is 11pm, so being the 2nd to last group should be a fun roll in time for sure. Im just looking forward to hanging out friday night and seeing all the car. yeah, I wanted the engine bay uncluttered. It doesn't get hotter then 165degrees I can always switch it around, Thanks for the heads up.
