I cant remember the code right now I think it was qm1, but this was nissan super white and it was super bright like toyota white. It had a splash of yellow and a splash of black in the mix and a whole lot of white

Would anybody beable to tell me the color code on my car there is a code on the vin plate under the hood but I've had spray bombs mixed to that code and it didn't match at all. When I got the car from japan there was a sticker in the back window Paradise Road Kustoms or something like that. Reason I want to know this is because I am getting the car painted as soon as its out of winter storage and I don't want to do a color change if anyone can give me any idea it would be greatly appreciated. I do know in the sun it has a metallicy kind of sparkle to it.

After seeing new colors come in my dealership, I must say, this is my favorite one.

Cosmic Grey Mica. Looks black in dark light and is almost a blueish grey pearl in sunlight. Beautiful.

I still needed a day on that car before I was okay with giving it to him, but the shop owner felt like being a know it all like paint didn't take more than a night to fully cure. I am hoping he'll let me build a diffuser and side step things for it but we'll see. Good to know he was stoked on his car

If you have a chance, take it to a paint store/body shop that has color books you can flip through and hold up to the car to see what is the closest. Does it look like its been painted before? Look in the trunk/rear seat area and see if its the same green inside the car, usually people won't paint that part. Also that could be anything from a stock nissan green to a bmw or even an aston martin, you will need to see what is close out of a color book, just start flipping through greens in the sun and you'll know when you find it.

I would'nt use Nason unless you are planing on selling your car. That is one of the worst paint systems I have ever use.

Nason primer is awesome, base coats aren't bad. Water based anything IS the worst shit out there.

I have an idea, let's get lower voc by making it take 5x as much paint to cover and a lot more solvent to clean the gun properly! It's a great idea!

This is the exact colour iv always wanted to paint my car if it wasnt a track car that met with tyres and gravel traps regularly.. such a nice colour..

I love how Mazda colors look good on everything else, Nissan colors look good on everything else and stock colors are never truly appreciated until they are on a car they were never meant to be on.

Custom colors don't have that problem, that's why I like what I get to do

I did my research before painting my s14 an I myself was going from a Nissan factory white with pearl which made the paint look cloudy to what I have on my car now which is Toyota Super White II (040). I've been parked next to an aspen white subie... Both are PURE white, Toyota's shines more & with a clean car it's like God himself opened the gates of heaven on your ass. Your decision, both are legit!

Here are a few pics directly out of the booth:




Then a year afterwards, tracked & daily driven HARD!:



Sorry for solely night pics for the year after shots but it proves how bright and glossy even in the dark.

Does anyone know what color people use for their engine bays? It's a light gray, but does anyone know the color code? Here's some examples.

This is a ford color. I think it's called ford torino red. This is right after I got the car back from paint.
