Quick question, Is there a general rule for coilover clearance with wide wheels, like a minimum offset to clear coilovers or is it all depending on what coils/wheels you're running? I'd like to know if 17x10 +20 (XXR 526) would clear Megan Tracks, and if not, how much spacing would I need? I asked this in the small questions thread but no answer.

This diagram is SPOT ON for my Megan track coilovers.
Online Wheel & Tyre Fitment calculator. Offset and Tyre Stretch

I have two cars with them, bought about two years apart, a few small differences, but fitment is the same on both sets of fronts. If I put a wheel weight on the inner lip of my 9.5 +12, it will hit the spring. Good luck.

Appreciate it man. So what I what I gathered from that is I'd need 10-15mm spacers to clear the coil. Should be interesting... Thanks again man.

what tire size would be perfect stretch for a 18x10.5 offset is +20
for the rear of a S14 stock body,rolled fenders?

i'm highly convinced that 45 series sidewalls only work on 16s and 15s........ which put them in the gay category ..

(225/45 on 17x9.5, 235/45 on 17x10)

yeah, pretty much. That rear tire is over an inch taller than a stock tire. Should have gone with 40 series.
