WTB AEM boost sensor replacement

Hi there,
I found a AEM boost gauge for cheap locally, but it’s missing the sensor itself. Was wondering if anyone has one laying around or one for sale. It’s the -30-35 psi one if it makes a difference.

Let me know at 206 566 9749. Thanks!

Sensor?

It has an internal sensor for 0-29psi

Just connect a vac hose to it coming from intake manifold

Interesting, I wasn’t aware of that. He mentioned that he he only had the gauge and wiring and not the sensor so I thought it was needed. I’ll take a look at it tonight. Thanks!

It does use a sensor, which is connected to the gauge via a wire harness. No idea where you could find that sensor though

It does if you need it to read higher then 30 psi

Then the part number is 30-4351

Really? Well, maybe it is an option, but at least in my case, i use a pressure/vacuum sensor for my aem boost gauge runing 1bar.

Yup no need to

Here’s a brand new unit I have for my evo

Connect the vacuum hose on it and good to go

There’s 2 plugs in the back the bigger one is for power & boost solenoid

Small one is for external boost sensor option running 30PSI plus

Ah, I see. I take it yours is a tru boost? Aem sells a more basic boost gauge which is only that, a boost gauge without all the extras tru boost offers. That's the one that I have, and I dont believe you can hook up a vac line directly to the gauge.

Met for the gauge last night, turns out it does require a sensor. No boost/vac port on the back so, the search goes on.

Also, it seems that the plug for the sensor is the same as the AEM map sensor. If it is, I might just be able to split the connection from my map to the gauge, as I am AEM v2 on my RB25. If anyone has insight on this, let me know. Thanks!
