Strange sr20det Fuel Problem

I have a red top in my 92 silvia Q's, and when there is a full tank of gas it pulls fine.. but when the gas runs down to a half tank or lower, it hesitates/bogs and falls on its face. this problem goes away as soon as i top off the tank.

i have a new walbro 255 i can put in, and plan on a new fuel filter and cleaning the injectors... any other ideas?

thanks in advance.

Um, most likely the fuel pump is in wrong, sounds like the pickup isn't getting low enough.
