S14 sr20det bad clutch?

So i'm thinking about buying a s14 with a s14 sr20det. I drove the car around and I tried to rev it up and dropped the clutch at a dead stop but no burn out.

While driving let say 20 mph and i rev it up and change to next gear it usually just revs and doesn't really go anywhere faster. It does go into the next gear though but it still remains at a high rpm to where i revved it about.

The transmission and stuff doesn't grind and it shifts smoothly. I forgot to check if the rpm slipped after changing gears.. it mostly just keeps revving and goes nowhere.

I'm guessing that it a bad clutch? is this the problem?
I read other places it might just be a adjustment to the pedal and the slave(bleeding)?

Also, if anyone knows a write up on changing a clutch on a sr20det that would be great. Or any tips that you can give on replacing one

Does it smell like you are burning up the clutch? Pretty easy to notice that smell.

Seems like that clutch is slipping already... If you shift and rpm raise but not your speed then clutch its starting to go bro.

Check this link if you need a clutch!
