if you slow down at all, you get asspacked. that's why next year they're adding a not-wide-open-throttle light in addition to the front brake light, so anyone that lifts can lose points with the judges.

Watch JR's in car stuff, he lifts just as much a Diago, so I was amazed the judges tried to make calls on him having to lift to scrub speed.

Im curious to see what happens in seattle. Judging has been heavely scrutinized by the locals. Ive seen the entire grandstands boo the judges more than once just at one event.

Daigo Saito just kicked the door right open on Formula D. First year competing in the American series and took 4 podiums, 2 event wins and the series Championship all in his rookie year in a chassis nobody in the world has made competitive .

Unless you haven't noticed, this eventually happens in all sports. Judges or refs get biased.

People get sucked into nutswinging some drivers sack. And it's happening to the judges. Hell it happens to most of Zilvia members lol

Agreed that Field should have gone on. IMO Powers and him had the best runs of the day. That top 32 follow run of Powers was just top notch with how close he was.

Run 1- Matt leads, Daigo is all over him in the bank but bobbles a little but holds close prox the whole way.
Run 2- Daigo leads, Has a gap in the bank, Matt smacks the wall in the inner bank but doesn't spin, doesn't hold the same prox.

OMT
Run 3- Matt leads, Matt is low in the bank while Daigo is high, Daigo is within one car length throughout the course.
Run 4- Daigo leads, Matt smacks the wall again in the inner bank.

The judges said it was Matt running low bank on his lead that cost him the match. Daigo Saito wins fair and square.

never said it was a disadvantage, he just said that his car didn't have one of those pussy engines to help everyone drift better. less foot work involved less shifting, all around less work and skill
