I have z32 iron calipers and z33 12.75 rotors up front. I looked at the Alumastar 17's that your running but I found a local junkyard that has 2 GTO's that both have the spare tires for cheap.
I was leaning more toward the MT tires but I am open for suggestions. Amberly very clean setup. |

I like the way this thread is going. It is about time there are more people on this forum that do more than drift their 240. Amberlys13 that is a sick setup, is that a borg warner s374? I am going to run a mazworx sr22 motor with a borg warner s366 and I am shooting for 700+whp on e85, and then see how much it can make on c16 race fuel.
Let's keep this thread alive.

No line lock either, that will be done next and if using the stock master cylinder you need to use two unless you change out to a different MC

I thought I would post up my S14 daily driver setup and drag results.
S14 SE with full interior and full tank of gas S13 sr20det with stock internals, stock cams, stock intake mani, stock exhaust mani, Gt2871r .64 at 16psi tokico d spec shocks w/ megan springs 245/50/16 Nitto 555r at 15psi 60' 1.993 1/4 12.651 MPH 113.57 That was done at 4000 ft above sea level. If I were to take it down to sea level I should hit a 12 flat or better. I was happy with the results. I drove the car to and from the track, 220 miles round trip.

s13 drifta, that is an awesome time for basically a turbo and tune car in full trim.
S@nt0s, I now have my coilovers for sale lol. I'm suprised that factory suspension is working that well for you. I hope I can see some improvement with my factory setup reinstalled. What size rear tire are you running? Rim width and offset would be great too. |

To each there own....I have setup my car for drifting and now I am looking switched directions more to daily/drag whenever I get a chance. I think most the "drifting" craze has gotten out of hand but I also think creating a show car with super stretched tires and stupid camber...etc. is useless. So I can respect your opinion BFT drag racing isnt for everyone. I personally hope to build a car that will run 10's and still have the ability to be driven home 2-3 hours after a long day of work.
If you really think about it....most of what we do is pointless. Spending $$$$ on a car and modifying it is stupid either way. At the end of the day its still just a 240sx no matter what you do to it but damn it feels good to build something that "you" as the builder has put together. I have built a few cars but no matter what you think, its a shitty investment because when you go to sell it you always lose tons of money either way.....unless your talking about old classics or some high end cars. Just my 2 cents |
