Projector HID RPS13

Someone try on this?

S13 240sx Popup HID light conversion Bi-Xenon projector | eBay

becouse i like to put projector on my S13, but i think in some like this :

S13 Nissan 240sx - Bi-Xenon Projectors in flipups! - Custom - HD - YouTube

the first are more pretty becouse are sleepy and ready to go, but the quality and the glue

the second are better quality, but dont sell only way es DIY.

the question are, someone have any of this on his car?

I had the eBay ones on my 240 before I sold it. They aren't bad. Kinda bouncy though. They look good and are unique but not really worth the $400.

the first ones are garbage. Don't bother with it.

Second is nice, simple retrofit into 4x6 headlights. Too bad they used those horrible 6000k bulbs. Go on hidplanet.com there is tons of info on retrofitting and many examples of sealed beam/4x6 retrofits.

they are also pretty terrible projectors though. One can do fx, 350z, e55, or rx350 bixenon in those housings and be much more impressed.

Your one stop retrofit HID spot.
I just placed my order on a set of HID kit for my truck. Im considering doing to Projector retrofit on my 4x6 housing but im still learning about this topic.

The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications

I have used them on 2-3 of my cars. never had issues.

I had these in my 240sx for awhile before I did the silvia conversion. They have a decent cut off and are a quality piece. Better quality and pricing than the ebay ones. I did have to trim the base of the H4 bulb to fit but not a big deal

Your best chance at perfect lighting is to plug one of the Chinese HID kits into your current lights.

Only reason i dont like these is the halo ring and without the halo ring, they look naked lol.... other than that they look pretty dope.

the pegasus lights are no better than ebay projectors... the light distribution is terrible! If you're going to do a sealed beam retrofit use oem hid projectors and nothing else.

this is a 7x6 light but you get the idea...

I would use OEM projectors, or at the very least "replica" oem projectors (the retrofit source sells both).

I disagree that the Pegasus are no better than the eBay garbage but do agree that there is no comparison between those and oem projectors. I've had both and it's a night and day difference(s13 duals w/ TSX projector retrofitted vs. Pegasus). But for those who have little know how or skill I think the Pegasus is the better of the two cheaper choices.
