A 265 would be a "square" fitment on a 9.5", not a 235 or 245. A 235 would definitely have some stretch and a 245 would have a little stretch.

By square set up I was referring to an equal set up front to rear vs. staggered. My question is really just regarding fit. Will 245 35’s fit all around without blowing out my fenders on the street or autox?

not a max tire question, but depending on your height and camber settings, (guessing based off my setup) you'd probably need to have the car not be too low, add camber and roll/minor pull the front fender. Rears, some camber and roll fenders to fit. It's do-able.

255/35 around and you should be good. 275/35 may fit in the rear but maybe not with that low of an offset.

It was so bad that at first I thought the offset of the front rims were different, until I pulled them off to check. I also found out that the car had been slid off the road into a ditch that most likely caused the problem.

What is the actual physical/mechanical problem that causes this phenomenon??
I have read probable 50 pages of this thread and was wondering of anyone brought to light this issue. I've owned over a dozen s13s hatches and coupes both seem to share this problem in the rear quarter panels. Even on the alignment rack. Given I have had the same alignment guy forever, maybe he is the problem but I deffinetly see the issue a lot.

Chassis: s13 coupe
Fender mods: fronts: stock, rears: rolled
Suspension: Megan Coils and RUCAS
Wheel specs: 17x9 +22 and 17x10 +38
preferred tire size: 255/40 and 275/40

Will the rim/tire combo work on a stock body s13? I know/understand that I will probably have to get the fronts rolled and a slight pull in rear.

I've run 245's on 18x9.5's and even nt01 aren't close to being square.

I think 265-285 is square on 9.5".

I really like 285's or maybe 295's on 9.5" wheels.

Do your coupe still have the RPF1's on it? What are the specs on your RPF1's? And can you plz post a few pictures of it? Im looking to do the 17x10 +38 and 17x9 +22 RPF1's on my black coupe too.

I'm in the Process of Building a S-14 LS240. The Drivers side quarter had some rust from previous owner's accident that was not repaired correctly. I'm weighting my options on wide quarters Vs replacing the quarter or fixing with bondo.

Looking to run 17x10.5 Cobra Replica's with a 305 or a 295

any suggestions?

I run a 275/35/18 on an 18x10.5 et+27 Bullitt replica on the rear of my S14 and had to roll and slightly pull. I will say this, that with a +27 offset (which most 10.5" width Mustang rep wheels have), you will have a fender clearance issue with a 295 or wider. With the 295, the backspacing is fine at 175mm so you shouldn't contact the coilover body (assuming you are running coilovers), however the frontspace at 121mm will have about 15mm interference with the fender depending on camber of course. I had to both roll and pull mine a bit to get the 275s to fit under fender with a tad more camber than factory specs, so I would recommend a few options:

-Both roll and pull, then repair the 1/4 panel and go with the 295/35/17 (this tire keeps your speedo calibrated b/c factory tire diameter on S14 with OEM tire size of 205/55/16 was ~25" tire diameter, same as a 295/35/17).
-Only roll the fender, then repair and run a higher offset wheel like a 10.5 +30 and to fit the 295/35/17.
-Install flares since your fender needs to repaired anyway, and then run something much larger like a 315/35/17 (25.7" tire diameter) or even 335/30/17 (24.9" tire diameter) if you can swing it financially.

Again, someone may have a different opinion based on their experience, but I've made a fitment calc Excel sheet for the S14 and found it to be highly accurate. PM if you need more clarification.

change it up

Heres mine on the drift spares

18x9.5 +15 26/35/18 front
18x10.5+15 and a 10mm spacer not flush but it gives me a wide range of tire choices 275/35/18 rear in the pics. but it goes up to 295 depending on the track.

FYI, there's only one manufacturer to my knowledge that makes 295/40/17 tires. They are hard to find and not all that good. 315/35/17 on the other hand are a great size tire and are easily accessible (~12 inches wide and yes I mounted them on my supercharged 32v mustang cobra). 295/18s are common but cost twice as much as a 315/35/17. It's something to consider if you know you are going to rip through tires (like I do)

Also FYI, I strongly suggest not running Cobra replicas: they are 13 pounds heavier in rotating mass PER WHEEL over Enkei RPF1s. If you want to go wide and don't like the look of RPFs, go with CCW Classics. You can get them in whatever size and offset you want. If you want grip for an LS, go widebody and run 17x11 CCWs with 335/35/17 for daily driving

D. All of the above.

Contrary to the crap i talk, i drive it all the time though never to my job just after work or on weekends just around for fun, I've driven it 5 hrs in the last two nights just playing with the cooling system to figure out if i have blown head gaskets or my cooling redesign was flawed turns out a little of both i think.

The seat is a momo sport cup, not terrible but it is a bucket.
Springs are 10k front 8k rear, although it rides surprisingly well, as long as you don't hit any bumps, or road reflectors.
And of course no a/c and in florida no less, no sound deadening, no windshield wipers ( i regret this one), so its a sauna, and if it rains you have to drive with the windows down or it fogs up and you can't see crap.

Moral of this story, don't build race car show cars, that you actually race, and take to car shows, and drive on the street. Unless like me tonight you want the owner of the brand new 911 turbo porsche you just wooped giving you props on how sick your car looks lol.
