Contact: [email protected] ( faster ) or PM
Item Location: Japan
Shipping: Roughly 6-10 business days USPS priority

$125 shipped

180sx Key/Ignition with
LHD/RHD steering wheel columns are the same

The door handle with locks can be made available at an extra cost as I would have to drive roughly two hours to retrieve them.

For those that may not know, LHD/RHD steering columns are identical...

(pic is upside downward)

Key in all positions

They are absolutely not identical. Everyone always told me that and I believed them until I recently started my rhd conversion, and I put them side by side. They are more different than similar. The whole tilt mechanism is completely different. How it bolts down is different, where it bolts to the firewall is different. There are other small differences as well. I don't know if it's because my lhd one was from a hicas car and my rhd one isn't, but my 97 180sx column is definitely not identical to my 91 240sx column.

Could it have been due to it being s14 to s13? I have no personal dealings with doing rhd swaps basically selling it as all together due to not wanting to break off the barrel. I just did a few good searches and all said that the like year racks were identical. Hicas could definitely play a factor I have a Hicas 180sx also here and that thing has so much extra jazz going on lol.

I just chucked it up last night as I was in the garage and didn't have a sharp flat head punch tool. going to go find one today and probably remove it.

I meant to go back last night and revise.. but the column is really disposable to me and was not a part of the sale, the title probably made it so.. I was just including it so that the buyer could use or remove the barrel themselves. The price would remain the same with or without the column.
