Clark is not to bad if the engine you swap has emissions devices your chassis comes with(non OBDII chassis at least). If not then getting it Bard is not to hard if you plan to VQ swap, though I am pretty sure you would need to run the ecm appropriate for the VQ you use so that the OBDII link will work for smog machines.

And I could be wrong, but I think I remember Reno being like every county but our fantastic Clark.

And the worst cops I have experienced have been metro and Hendo. N town cops laugh at my hondas WuTang sticker.

I can not wait to save enough to do this swap to an s chassis, but my biggest thing is ECM and BCM reprogramming for a smog legal swap. I think I read somewhere if you want to run the Xterra ECM it requires less reprogramming, and no BCM means less wiring, but its no 350z.

Absolutely love the VQ in the AE for who ever posted that, amazing!

I'm sure VQ can't be hard to pass smog, maybe you'd have to retain the cats, unfortunately my motor came without them. But no smog here, for the time being. I imagine the VQ will be a blast to drive.

Please could you link me to it? I'm cross eyed from reading this entire thread for info as I want to fit an 02 JDM 350Z engine and transmission into a 180SX for drifting when I get back from Afghanistan. I have access to the complete car but don't need all the emissions stuff as it'll be for a track car and in the UK. Hoping to wire it up myself if it's feasible and not pay someone $1000 to do it. Also, did anyone except McKinney make up any decent mounts for a good price in the end?

Many thanks in advance.
