Mrs. Hill destroyed every talking point the Republicans had with facts, email, and dates backing up everything. The State Department witness did a better job than the Dems could off. The story line will shift to, Yes the POTUS asked for quid pro quo, but that is not impeachable.

So how did you come to the conclusion considering Hill had very strong testimony and Sondland produced actual tangible information in the form of Text messages, etc contrary to what you stated above??

I am struggling to see how you came to this conclusion considering the very bi-partisan nature of the folks who did testify and included tangible evidence.

Vindman listened to the July 25 telephone conversation in the White House Situation Room and reported his concerns about the president's mention of political investigations to the top NSC attorney, John Eisenberg. He said the attorney decided to move the record of the call onto a highly classified system that few could access.

Vidnman is valuable testimony I am not sure there is anyone as bi-partisan as Vidnmand with so many years of service who I would go against. And this is just one example

I’m waiting to see how the whole thing shakes out honestly. Recent polls are showing people are over this thing and in one week went from more people thinking he should be impeached to more people thinking he should not. This could back fire of the Democrats in a big way. Russia 2.0. There were “facts” then too.

My take on the impeachment is both sides are convinced they are right. I have not been able to watch it for myself so I don’t have an opinion.

All left news sources are reporting it’s a win for dems
All right sources are reporting it’s a loss for dems.

My only thoughts are the senate is republicans controlled. It would be career suicide as a republican to vote to impeach him. Not going to happen. If it’s s closed door vote you bet your asses any dissenters would get “leaked” to the public.

The best thing in my opinion is to download the NPR app on your phone or listen driving int and coming home from work. I loved the back and forth with Rep Nunes and Mrs. Hill, she gave him the business for a solid 20 minutes.

The reason her record gets questioned is over the Police Officer who was murdered and the individual was not sentenced to death but life in prison. The widow of the slain officer and their family wanted the death penalty, Kamala ," said no." Kamala failed to meet with the family to discuss this matter. Kamala has a history of being cold, but not corrupt like Hilary.

I'm currently listening to NPR Broadcast, and all the 3 out 4 scholars agree the POTUS should be impeached.

Kamala would not wipe the floor with trump. It is not about record in this election, it is simply about optics, and Kamala would easy lose out on character assassination by gop.

In addition, she has been chameleon like on several topics. Dropped the ball heavily (in my eyes during a NPR interview) in immigration and overall, did not have the proper support staff to push her across the goal line. She didn't bother to campaign in Iowa and basically lost all her (donor) support. Also, the black vote was not guaranteed (which is why she chose to campaign in South and North Carolina as opposed to Iowa) and she just over extended herself and underestimated the importance of key checkpoints along the way.

Being a president is simply not about having a good record (which is checkered). There are several more factors which she simply did not posses or simply made the wrong moves.

^ And no. The reason her past was checkered was not because of that event. She pushed for proper rehabilitation of prisoners while also pushing for longer more stringent prison sentences for example.

Also, Harris only showed up to Iowa AFTER the fact. She was already deep in the Carolinas prior to this ......well pass tf here Iowa sell by date.....and part of the reason why she is out. However, I put this one squarely on her team of strategist.

Do I agree with iowa being so important? No. However this is what we are working with.

I have always had an issue with the electoral college as it allowed large swats of land to actually function as a vote. The issue is how do you balance farm owners with densely populated metropolitan areas. Every vote should be counted equally and allows this sham of an idea that one must campaign for 90% of the time in office vs actually doing your job that the folks elected you to do.

But again, please make more blanket ignorant statements as you normally do.

Adam Schiff, D-Calif., went on to describe the president as “unbound” and “unaccountable”—because Schiff is a model of even-keeled temperament. He and other Democrats formally adopted the report a party-line vote, leading up to today’s impeachment hearing in the House Judiciary Committee.

Don’t be fooled: Schiff’s impeachment charade is exactly that, and it’s incompatible with the long and esteemed history of the United States Congress.

Anti-Trump Democrats have essentially hijacked one of the three branches of federal government by consuming Congress with a bogus impeachment process, which has only deepened our divisions while grinding government to a halt.

This is unprecedented. I have served four U.S. presidents, including two tours at the highest rank of White House staff as Assistant to the President.

I have also advised six different presidential campaigns, so I’ve lived and breathed politics for decades.

As chairman of Great America PAC, I worked hard to help elect President Trump, so I understand just how determined the Left is to not only undermine his agenda, but ultimately remove him from office.

I have never seen such naked, self-serving partisanship. Since Inauguration Day, impeachment has been the left’s primary agenda.

Mere weeks after his election, Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., pressured President Trump to divest business assets that could pose a conflict of interest, supporting legislation would make violations of federal conflict-of-interest rules “a high crime or misdemeanor under the impeachment clause of the U.S. Constitution.”

Three years later, that same agenda has resulted in the impeachment “hearings” we see today. It’s a farce.

After the Mueller report predictably exonerated President Trump earlier this year, Schiff embraced a whistleblower whose claims would purportedly lay the foundation for impeachment. Within months, however, a supposed truth-teller was exposed as a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House. This was a Democrat who had previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden.

According to one National Security Council official, the whistleblower was “accused of working against Trump and leaking against Trump.” That same whistleblower reportedly worked with a Democratic National Committee operative, Alexandra Chalupa, who conducted opposition research on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. He even invited her into the White House for meetings.

In the process, the whistleblower even sought out Schiff for “guidance.” That’s right: The whistleblower, a Democrat, worked with the ringleader of impeachment to remove a sitting president from office. And now we are to believe the impeachment process is “nonpartisan”.

Making matters worse, Schiff repeatedly lied about his contact with the whistleblower. In an MSNBC interview, Schiff infamously claimed, “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower.” It’s a claim so egregious that even The Washington Post and PolitiFact—which are anything but pro-Trump—accused Schiff of lying to the American people.

The charade goes on. Schiff recently scrambled to stop the whistleblower from being named, while finding time to accuse President Trump of acting “for his own personal, political gain”—again, because Schiff is a model of nonpartisanship. Even as Republicans attempt to speak with the whistleblower, Democrats put up roadblocks at every turn.

Such partisanship is not only antithetical to our democracy, but it also sets a dangerous precedent for future dealings between a sitting president and the opposition party. If the Democrats can pursue impeachment now—when there are virtually no grounds to so—are we to expect an impeachment inquiry every four years?

How can Republicans trust any Democrat, when the Democratic Party has been hell-bent on impeachment since 2016? Imagine if Republicans had launched a bogus impeachment inquiry against President Obama, solely on the grounds of him being a Democrat.

In lieu of trust, what Republicans can do is mobilize. Based on recent polling, Republicans (and other Americans) are determined to look past Schiff’s impeachment charade and join together in support of President Trump.

The Democrats may have “impeachment,” but President Trump has a booming economy and the safest, most secure America in recent memory. I’ll take the latter, and so should you.
