I am aware of this but any competant fab shop should know how to handle this

Shout out to @w0nDerbr3ad (I think lol), he got me in contact with a dude that did my hybrid manifold. Well we had an unexpected delay and I barely got my manifold back 2 days ago. Took way longer than I hoped. Found time tonight and got it on.

Been caught up with doing good in school, personal Shiz, and it sucks to say but I like driving my reliable versa. Car has been sitting for nearly 2 years and parts just keep sitting. Might just end up selling it all, who knows lol. Anyways I'm looking for sr20 air box
-Forgot to mention got this manifold done by @cindertackfabrication on Instagram

I love this thread. How much boost can the stock SR intercooler piping hold?

stock about 14 and then the oem bov starts to break up. if you swap that out then who knows how much. only problem is the stock SMIC will heat soak before you boost more than the piping can hold.

Yeah very true, didn't take heat soaking into consideration. Was just curious about how much boost they would hold; I myself plan on going with a large FMIC. Currently in the process of building mine. Actually will start on it tomorrow

Can i post up in the sleeper thread?
Not a crazy build yet, KA24E with a s15 BB t28. About 12psi on stock internals.. Nothing crazy, but a super reliable and a ton of fun to drive.

Not that I know of.

The manifold you use will cause the biggest fitment issues.

Mine did not fit with the Pbm cobra. As stated it depends what manifold you're using or how it was modified

The PBM Cobra Downpipe fits perfectly with the Tomei cast manifold. Don't waste your time with the hybrid manifold.

^^This. The Tomei manifold was designed to place the turbo in the exact same location as an SR, meaning that SR exhaust components can be used on a KA-T.

only reason im going hybrid is to utilize the heatshield to retain that "stock" look like everyone else in this thread.

Damn... glad I found this thread, working on going through it... I need inspiration to slap on my turbo... I need IC piping, down pipe, wideband and SA. Now I see these hybrid cast SR logs with oem heat shield... I would love to rock that.

I really really for humanities sake, for your children's sake, for your namesake, for the poor woman whom allows you to lay with her that you are not in your 30's. You are literally the most dense, stupid, uninsightful person on this forum. I would rather be handcuffed to Mhubonehead for the rest of my life having to walk him through every s chassis modification while listening to his endless banter about his latest and greatest yahoo auction Japan score than read another idiotic post from you.

I'm glad this forum makes it so I don't have to.

I used the same couplers from my intercooler piping, just had to heat it up a bit to stretch it over the TB intake.

I bought a 3" 45* coupler that had maybe 5-7" on each side from the bend, then trimmed to fit. Don't use a coupler that's too thin, I had used one and it ballooned out causing me to overboost and popped.

To me, it would seem as if the [Sr20 airbox is identical to the Ka one] I have an S14 Ka which is now S14 Sr20. I was given the top part of the oem SR20 air box but the bottom part was missing.
Bottom piece from the KA matches up perfectly. Some "Male genitalia saliva donation maker" is selling the oem airbox for $140 on the forum. You *should* be able to get away with it,

Just make sure you use some lengthy piece of piping and keep the MAF away from the turbo as far as you can and recirculate your shit if you're not using a MAP sensor.

They are not identical. Stop spreading misinformation.
