Going to pull cluster and do the needle red/orange

That would only be sad if he were to be selling it again later, but if it fits closely with the existing bracing and is more of a permanent modification good on him to make it closer to a bespoke solution. Then again, it is Damon we're talking about and he does seem to constantly be selling parts just as quick as he picks them up sooo....

After doing some research works bell it is.. Nrg is just bling. Well I ordered the works hub so we'll see how that fits. The slim hub is 100 bucks more which is odd.

I've run a splash hub, Works Bell QR in the past. The quality was great, and never gave me any issues.

I just came back from Japan with the same setup for my Chaser. If it ain't broke...

Yeah I can't rationalize having a $1000 steering wheel set up. The NRG QR is actually pretty good quality. I've never used a Works Bell QR.

I have WB hub and QR lock though.

No need for a quick release since you have stock seats. Quick release is pretty crucial if you have bucket seats. My powerful quads can barely squeeze between the seat and steering wheel if I don't remove it.

QR is also a great theft deterrent. Unless they brought their own steering wheel or a trailer, they're not taking my car. I think you should get a deduction on your auto insurance premium if you have a quick release.

Correction. Quick release is required when you have a proper race car where the buckets seats are bolted directly to the car.

If your buckets are on sliders, you should not have much issue.

Unless it's a Bride bucket and slider, which is commonly the case here I'm sure. Have you ever sat in a Bride fixed back and tried to slide the seat forward? It's hilarious to say the least. What a terrible process, lol.

That being said I have always had buckets and have never owned a quick release. Always thought they were cool but just couldn't justify the cost. I had a Works Bell setup for the Evo but never got around to installing it.

LOVE the Koyo hang towels for the passengers in the Cefiro.
I assume that is for when they start sweating from that late 80s/early 90s JDM fire!

i'm in the same situation. have a bride full bucket + street faction super low rail w/ slider coming in soon. i'm about 6'5 so getting in/out of my car without a QR doesn't sound like it would be fun even with sliders. think i'll get the WB QR + hub and a 330 nardi/nismo wheel.

i could save a good amount of money if i went with NRG or Grip Royal steering components. but in the back of my mind knowing that i possibly cheaped out something so important would bother me.

but then again, i'm worrying about safety when old brides probably aren't so safe either.

I mounted my Sparco Corsa as low as possible on Bride slider rails. The bottom of the seat is touching the floor, so the sliders don't really function.

Reason I asked is because I aquired a 1996 wheel and do not feel like leaving it in my car at all. So I plan on popping it off countless times and after reading the article below and doing some research, I justified my own question and will got with a works bell set up. Also I have a bucket and soon to be installed cusco wrap around dash cage. And like cash, I have powerful quads lol
