JasonNagra - thanks for the compliment. the blue one is mine(DUH!) and the silver moss is anthony's. the silver car behind his is an infinity M30, a previous s14 owner(accident)
so i guess no one wants to show any pics |

it depends on what manifold/turbo you are using, you want the return line to be as straight as possible into the oil pan, so i would mount the turbo first then size it up from there

Here is mine. Take it for what it is worth. I did it using the F-Max method described in their docs. I center-punched the oil pan while it was still on the car, then tapped it w/ a 3/8" NPT tap (with heavy grease on it). Then I screwed in a 3/8 NPT barbed brass fitting w/ teflon tape on it, and finished it off with silicone gasket.

that looks REALLY low. from what i was told, you are suppose to make the return line as high on the oil pan as can be. at least above the oil in there so it flows freely.
btw for some reason i wouldnt trust a barb fitting and rubber hose. im going to weld a 8an fitting onto the oil pan and use a stainless steel line. pic from www.nsport.com Last edited by 95Blue240sx; 11-18-2003 at 09:06 AM.. |
