That's all on him... I just install what people send me. I'm going to assume he could care less about the trip... I know I would care less. He could always not run the front glass, but he did pay me to polish it. So I assume that he wants to run it.

VHT Vinyl Dye. In satin black. Gloss black is too glossy. But this stuff looks OEM Even did all the brackets and mirror screw cover and so on. Looks really good. Will try and take better pics when the car's out of the garage. |

Spray on vinyl/fabric dye is the truth. I just redid my whole carpet black with flat duplicolor stuff and it looks awesome.
It was so bad in uncovered areas that the grey somehow faded to mint green lol.

Not like carpet haha. Kinda crunchy but its not like i'm laying on it. For $18 i'm super happy with the results.
I'm sure after some wear the crispiness will fade. During the whole re-install too I was surprised nothing really come off on my hands. Just a little dusting on my finger tips (which were sweaty) which washed right off and I only let it dry overnight. Also i'm getting floormats, I just wanted everything else black. Looks super clean. I would also be great on a headliner, visors, door cards etc. Drys surprisingly fast.

Vacuum it lightly and it loses some of its darkness, but the crunchiness goes away. Be careful not to vacuum too hard or you'll start to remove some of the colour.
If I can find a headliner in NZ and some pillar trims then I might dye one and put it in. |

I found as there wasn't a defining edge along the bottom that the mdf could sit behind (as per the 13), I had to "butt" it up to the plastic shroud which made it somewhat harder to get a straight edge.....if ya get me lol |

Almost everything you see in here is either painted with trim paint or dyed with fabric dye |

ah screws! I used a very small strip of epoxy down the length to do the same thing. Screws might be easier should I do another one! Just got to wait for a white defi link 60mm oil pressure gauge to come up for sale and it will be finished :S preaching to the choir! |

I used 2 whole cans and just a little bit of a 3rd one for touch ups after I put the carpet back in place. You could do it with 2 if your careful but I recommend 3.
