degreased engine now headlights wont come on?

yea so yesterday I decided to change my oil and degrease engine,so after degreasing I sprayed down the motor and let it dry for the day.The next night I go move the car and the front headlight wont turn on?its got HID's what did spraying most likely short out?

If they are cheap than most likely you got water into the electrical piece (cant remember the name of it currently) and thats the issue.

Doh.... that's why it's a good idea to disconnect the battery before spraying the engine bay. Check fuses/relays.

fuses are all good,which relay is it?isnt there two ballists?seems kinda odd both would go out?its 10:30 at night so ima try to get my game plan for tomarrow morn but so far i test lighted known fuses and all are good.

agreed,my negative battery cable terminal has one more pull or so before its over stretched and lose fitting on the battery so I thought I could skip disconnecting like so many times i didnt disconnect before and look where it got me....

so two fuses coming right off the ballast wiring from relay have no power going to them,possable relay blown?

FIXED! was the ballasts relay,swapped it out and was corroded and wet and now with new relay lights are working thanks for the input guys.

Next time put a plastic bag over sensitive electrical components. Washing your engine bay without proper precautions leads to more problems than solutions.

It could be worst, it could have been his starter or alternator. I never ever spray down those 2 or the CAS/distributor area.
