Not really. If you look carefully you can see the wastegate and exhaust housing.

The manifold was painted with some ceramic header paint. Not sure how long it will last but I figured it was worth a shot. You have pm!

Thanks. No dyno tune yet. Just installed a new clutch. Haven't broken it in yet. Should be making around 250 whp. Car is at 10 lbs of boost.

What are you breaking in? Is the motor new? Edit: D'oh reading zilvia at work is bad for ya

My install is almost in. They're just doing the exhaust piping and plumbing up the intake. I guess the PBM stuff I bought didn't really work

Could you take more pics of your setup, more of the intake area?

Done but not complete.

Timing- timing is way out of adjustable range by twisting the dizzy (advanced like 5 degrees). Runs like shit below 3k and once it hits 4k it bogs until all the extra fuel is expelled, then it RIPS.

Oil catch can- nothing plumbed up to the PCV valve on the valve cover, oil sprayed all over the bay after I cleaned it...

New t-stat- Car won't get above 140 unless you're pounding on it. Freeway cruising the car stays around 120-130 makes it run hella rich.

Action shot from the test day I did at Club Drift in Stockton

Sound like you need to adjust your PCV setup. You can leave the valve cover vented (preferably with a filter), then modify the crankcase vent line. Block the lines that go to the intake manifold, then run the PCV valve on the crankcase to a catch can. You can either vent to atmosphere or run a line from the catch can to the intake of the turbo... both are proven setups but some prefer one over the other.

I don't want to alter anything too much from the original set up.

Oh yeah, *looks at thread title*, duh haha. Hmm you could likely plumb a line from the valve cover to the turbo intake then and at least save your engine bay from oil every time you go into boost. If you put a catch can in between there it should save your intercooler pipes/intercooler from the oil coating while still providing the boost that's creeping past the "closed" (leaking) PCV valve while in boost.

PM me if you want to talk more, I don't want to muck this thread anymore with another PCV discussion thread but I like talking about it if you want someone to bounce ideas off of. Don't know if you were really looking for help or just posting your experience. Good luck!

What are people using for the coupler between the throttle body and the cold pipe? I can't seem to find anything that fits right.

I used the stock jam that came from my set up. It's an S14 SR coupler.

thanks for the info! I couldn't get my stock s13 sr one to line up and it looks similar to the s14 one. Maybe I can just get a 45 degree coupler.

I blew the piston rings in mine from a rich running condition... lol rebuilding an S13 block now. After all is said and done, it's fast as shit, and faster than an SR with the same mods, but it cost about 1k more...

+1 on the rings. Went through 2 ka's in a 1000 miles on a rom tune. Pulled like a freight train on my first motor till the water pump exploded.
