^This. Get wheels that fit sit a little sunk.

However, if you really need a pull, keep it at a minimum or you'll regret trying the pull.

Ehh the rears are somewhat rolled. Guess I should go back and hammer them as thin as they can get.

Trying to fit some 18x10 +19 Model 5s. Currently they are on 235/40/18s...And I don't want a shit ton of camber.

Carry on.
I don't think I ever post on here... And I'm hesitant to do so now due to a potential shitstorm, but lack of saving money isn't exactly what caused the current major economic crisis. That's a vague and uninformed opinion at best. But, politics aside... This topic is usually just beating a dead horse anyway.

On a more related note, prices of 'real', 'baller' wheels are pretty ridiculous in the grand scheme of things, and a lot of people who can afford them don't buy them.

Let's face it, the vast majority of people stancing their cars just cruise, DD and park hard. Any 'fake' wheel is good enough for that. And fuck, if you can pick up a set of brand new XXR's for $600 or Varrstoens for like $900 (that YOU like), then why dish out $3K instead for volks etc.??

When did we become SO vain as to give a shit about impressing our internet pals by spending money we don't have or want to spend?

Some people just need to get over the hurr durr buy real or not at all garbage. High prices on car parts are arbitrary in most cases anyway-- especially for used parts. If you like a set or real wheels enough to dish out a few grand, go for it (I know I have)-- but why hate on people that dont...

EDIT: added a pic of stance cuz I feel bad for yapping in a fitment thread.

NICE used wheels are like $1200~ broham.

And you can sell them for $1200~

Due to everyone and their mother wanting shitty cheap wheels, demand for them has risen.

So much in fact that buying used is not much cheaper than buying new.

Modding cars isn't a race.

DD and cruising can be done on stock wheels.

If someone wants a nice car, then make a nice car. Knockoff wheels is just like knockoff apparel and accessories. You aren't impressing anyone. And if you can't impress anyone, PLEASE dont post it up on a public forum where people can voice their likes and dislikes.

Posting up shitty replica parts and getting trash talked by the majority? Anyone that doesn't expect that is living in a dream world.

So if somebody buys some Varrstoens and personally really likes them, and they actually look good, they have to refrain from posting because they aren't TE37s? Sure, people hate on fake shit, but if I don't buy work's or ssr's I'm not allowed to be on the forum and post?

It's not about being butt-hurt and not taking criticism either. If you don't like what fake wheels look like, of course that's an opinion you're entitled to. But if you dislike them for no other reason than that they are not 'real', then you seriously have the mentality of a 12 year old.

Like I said, it's not about impressing people-- I mean, in a sense it is (if that's why you choose to do it)-- but ultimately its your car and your stuff. The aim shouldn't be to impress. The aim is to please yourself. Not others.

And please, just go to the wheel section and find some well taken care of work, weds or volks, ccw's-- with good offsets-- for 1200. I have my racing harts for sale ('real' wheels) and no bites at 1200. Most of the ones people want are in the $2000+ range. NLmotoring has brand new xxr's shipped at like 600.

I really don't understand why everybody has such a hard on about doing things one way or not at all.
