Belive it or not, ive already made my self at home at this forum and i still dont have a 240sx

I found a 89' 5spd, fb, 70000 miles, $1800. And im planning on decking this thing out hardcore (s15 front, sr20det, ect ect ect) but many say it isent worth it to put money into an 89 and down car. They say 90 and higher, what are your guy's oppinons on this?

I'd say thats a pretty good price for only 70000 miles. But if your planning on doing an sr swap any time soon that won't matter and neither will the fact that its shoc instead of dohc. I like the front of the 89-90 better than the 91-94 but also something that won't matter if your doing the front end soon. I'd say see if you can get it down to 1500 or 1200 but if not, I'd still go for it.

I just bought a 1989 Fb with 150k on it for 3650. The lady has kept records on everything with the car since the day she got it. and organized it with an index and shit. The interior looks like a brand new car. And my clutch(original) just burned out. Plus the fuel injectors just started leaking. How much money do u have? enough to do all that u want at first. Thats pretty cheap is it in good conidtion?
Great looking cars tho man=)

Get it! I payed $1100 for mine. Mine has everything you can get on the car the only problem was a bad strut in the back. I put a whole new suspension on it though and it's all better. BTW not stock suspension it has KYB adjustable with jamex lowering springs, new control arms and I'm getting ready to do sway bars and strut tower bars. You may want to consider keeping the KA motor. I found a place that makes turbo manifold for the 89-90 models. hmpracing.hypermart.net I searched for weeks to find that thing.

I found a better one, its a black 5spd with black leather interior, and racing suspension, shocks and springs and rims, its a 93' fast back and its 3500$s and they are going to add these parts for me, and then ill pay them $4000s for the whole package:
300ZX Rotors
JDM LSD
Skyline Calipers
Short Shifter
And A Supra type spoiler

The car is beautiful
