FS/FT: 1998 S14 Kouki **Fully Built RB25**

Up for sale is my monster 1998 RB25 S14. I hate to sell this car but I am daily driving it and I don't want to get a ref ticket so its gotta go! When I got this car a couple months ago, it had a blown motor with damage to all six cylinders from running too much boost on stock internals. Since then, the engine was rebuilt and built by SR20Store about 2500 miles ago. It was also retuned by Rotary Reliability and Racing after the build about 3 months ago. I have receipts for both the tune and the build! It now runs absolutely perfectly and is pushing 414 to the rear wheels on 14 PSI and 91 octane. The interior is absolutely perfect 10/10 with leather back seats and no rips, tears, or scratches anywhere! The exterior is 8.5/10 as there are a few cracks here and there but nothing too bad. It's still extremely clean! The swap was done almost perfectly and looks like it comes stock like that. Everything was done really clean and a lot of time and money was put into this car. I am looking to sell or trade it. Price is 15,500 OBO. I can also keep the wheels and seats to lower the price a little. Im in absolutely no hurry to sell so you can leave your lowballs at the door! As for trades, I'm looking to get into something like an Evo or an STi. This car is a great, really fun car that with the build, can be running 600 hp with race gas and meth. It is tuned at 414 hp to the rear wheels on a safe reliable tune! Heres the list of mods!

With all due respect.. Your better off shaving does flares. You'll see the difference in reaction. That includes the busy r33 replica bumper. Kouki models are appreciated for their simple yet aggressive lines. You start tampering with it and your pretty much shooting yourself on the foot. GLWS.

If you're going to ask over $15k for your car you should at least clean and vacuum it and then take quality photos. GLWS

Really wish it was a stock body. Awesome engine, great car. Your going to have a really tough time selling it due to the body, the moldings, and aero.

thats your personal opinion of how a car should be built/look.

im the orginal owner of the car and i did all the body work.
i decided to do the fender flares the way they are because i personally like the look at it makes me happy. i got the idea off of the gunmetal s14 that overboost (the copmany) built. the flares werent made for hella flush rims aggresive look. it was simply because i like the way everything was clean.
Hell i could of put glow in the dark stickers and sucken wheels if i wanted too. So please dont bash on someone elses car because its not your cup of tea... esp if its a fs thread

a little bit of info on the body work. i was done by expo 2000 here in Toronto they do amazing work and its quality. Its also a small family owned shop that dedicates all their time into thier work.

all of the flares and the sideskirts have metal bracks incorperated into them and were attached to the existing fender.

this car when in my possesion was my pride and joy and no corners were cut during my possesion. if the op would like i still have the photos from when it was in the body shop.

it was never winter driven here in Toronto either and always stored in a heated garage. The owner before me was an senior who passed away and the car sat in the garage until his wife decided to sell it some years later.

sorry for rambling on but i feel like what 85flyer posted was unnecessary. its a for sale thread not a what do you think about my car thread.

bump for this car. if there are any potential buyers and would like to know more details about the car you can also pm me and ill answer them.

good luck with you sale bro

Being narrow minded is a great limitation. No one bashed and no one tried offending this guys thread. You might work in a body shop or have a body shop but it doesn't make you a designer. No one made a remark about the quality of the work. There's certain elements that you don't mix for the sake of not messing up certain balance or lines that make or complement a car. Unfortunately, time and numbers don't lie.. I've seen this car posted for some time now and the majority of the feedback is negative or dislike towards that body kit. The goal is to sale it. So, be a little wise and listen to the people that your trying to sale this car to. It's minor cosmetic and it will pay off at the end.

BTW: I have a BA in transportation Design From a particular Art Center in Pasadena. You should take my word...I normally charge for it. LOL.

Thank you for the feedback everyone but if you don't have anything positive to say please keep it off my thread. What has been done to the car is done and I personally love it and get compliments from people on the streets and freeways all the time! So thank you for your feedback guys but telling me what I should do to the car really doesn't help me with my sale. Thanks!
