Good sir, I am not a noob, I may have played one on a spiffy commercial but trust me I am not a noob. You prob saw/met me at Greddy fest! That man has doubts about his valve cover, and hes right. I'm acknowledging that for him to the extent that he could have done something more... Presentable. He should not settle for a mediocre job on his valve cover when we all know he may have spent more then a arm and a leg getting that bay together. I know theirs a guy on a Zilvia who does wonders on valve covers, cant remember his name though?

The man speaks the truth. That valve cover wasn't by any means hideous but certainly not engine bay material for a bay that nice...Make a nice ass paper weight though. Maybe a toilet lid?

I'd be interested in making an S14 plenum work w/ longer runners on a VVL head. I know my Mazworx manifold on the VVL will lack the low-end torque that my S14 SR had. Oh well, still a much broader powerband.

I think the intake ports on the VE are bigger so it prob won't work.

The VE ports on the head are bigger you're correct. However a custom runner/head flange piece would have to be fabricated anyway, so anything is adaptable. I think it would be a great responsive setup for the lower power ceiling guys...

Haha. That radiator hose is awesome. Like $80 in fittings and an inch of hose.

that looks like that radiator is ready for destruction
wouldn't it be smarter to have another loop lower then the radiator itself wouldn't take much to destroy that thing where its sitting

Coming together nicely... Still have a few items to order to finish the bay up.

Will the factory fuse box fit with the Mazworxs manifold? That's the one thing bugging me about it.

Toby, thanks for the kind words, means a lot coming from you. I'd also like to thank you for the advice on sanding/prepping the bay. It was hugely helpful and it wouldn't have come out as nice without your wisdom. I will say this though, I'm not looking forward to doing another bay anytime soon.
Supposedly, they redid the intake manifold with a smaller plenum. It's suppose to clear the factory S14 fuse/relay box. The manifold in the picture is their original prototype manifold which was designed and built utilizing an S13 chassis.

I had planned on relocating it... There isn't any room there for it as it is and it would just clutter that area. It's going in the trunk.
