Fiberglassing holes in your engine bay
hey guys
Im keen to block up some holes in my engine and I am thinking of blocking them up with some fiberglass has anyone done it? |

I agree with the welding. We did a bay like this on an S15 and it turned out amazing. I'm sure the glass would be fine, but I can definitely vouch for the welding.

It's not the heat I would worry about. It's the constant flexing of the metal and the way in which metal shrinks and expands with temperature vs fiberglass. Very poor way of doing the hole filling.
