Thanks! Yes it was in an AE86. we recently sold that project to a fellow in Canada. The turbo was from a Nissan Xtrail(SR20VET) which is very similar internally to a S15 Spec R turbo(9 blade GT wheel and such) The car was sold with an HKS GT2530 though.

Ok. Haven't posted some fab pics in awhile. Here is what I have been upto the last few days.

Here is a mustang cobra 13" rotor on the mill. I milled out the hub hole to fit on my fc. and s13/s14

Then I grabbed a Brembo caliper off of a Viper and mounted it up. These are extremely cheap considering most viper owners upgrade. You can find a set of front calipers for around $200.00. I can get new ones for about $145.00 each.

I will be making a kit soon for the fc, fd, s13, s14. All cnc milled. Let me know if you are interested. It should only cost around $700 including everything. Calipers, pads, hardware, stainless lines, an fittings, rotors, brackets, etc. This is retarded cheap.

Then I had a new project to do. SJSU had a electric car they were building and needed a steering wheel adapter. Since there was no adapters available in the size they needed, I had to make one. It started out as a 3" piece of aluminum. This is what it looked like 8 hours later.

|The post is to hold a thumb throttle.

Heres the steering shaft that I tig welded. Looks like a piece of jewelry in person.

Then it was lunch time. So I made the intercooler piping for my ls1 turbo FC.

Then I bead rolled it for that professional look.

Fits great !

other side

yup

Hella room

O yea. Then I decided to make a custom power steering cooler/ line setup for my fc. It ended up costing over $600 my cost just for all the lines, fittings, cooler. OOPS> lol

Then I started to work on this Cobra kit car.

It has a BB chevy in it. :-0

Custom headers.
321 stainless.

Cool suspension and ewwiwops.

Then I was like shit. The owner wants the shifter to be 3" longer. So i grabbed some aluminum and headed over to the mill..

Turned out sick

I dont have a pic of it welded up, but that looked good as well.

Then I had to weld a nut onto a steering shaft support.

Looks like a weld that belongs on the space shuttle in person.

Then there was this baracuda

And roadrunner which we will be twin turboing with fuel injection.

Stay tuned.

I would probably be intrested in that Brake kit later this summer. That is a AWSOME price!

I got a couple of questions:
What pads would be included?
Would it clear a 17inch rim?
How over kill are these going to be on a S chassis, dont want to be locking up my brakes all the time.

Surprisingly these calipers dont use much more volume than the z32 brakes, and since they spread it out over a larger pad/ rotor area, the braking should be great. We would suggest that the 240 guys use a z32 master cyl. but it is not req if using a prop valve.

Ok, Let me know more info as it becomes available. Any Idea if it will fit on a 17inch rim?

kidsaru: Workin on it.

wanna: Workin on it.

Kat: Should fit on 17" wheels.

burnsauto: It is pretty simple. Since we are just making the existing center hole larger. Just determin how big you would like the hole to be. Then cross measure from a symmetrical reference point such as the 5 lug stud holes.

Once you have it close to be aligned you can use a dial indicator to determine your tolerances. In this case about .008 +-

Ok, hopefully it well. Since you are re-drilling the holes for the wheel studs, Is there a chance at 4-lug?

Kat: I am actually not drilling new holes for the studs. I am simply making the center hole larger.

I could re drill them for 4 lug. I would have to check my cost though.

OKay heres the final update to the fabwork done on my fastback. and this time final isnt a good meaning.

About to weld in the rear strut tower bar, i was planning to position the battery to this tube but im not sure about that. would the weight of the extension relocation kit cancel out the advantage of moving weight back? would i be better off with a small battery in the engine bay? OPINIONS please.

Almost done with the cage here......see some of the seam welding on the rear wheelwell?

OK look at the roof area....now some people (mostly drag setups) do a halo design, but i chose to make mine full A pillar tubes back to the main hoop. the compound bend makes it more complicated than a halo bend, i like this much better tho. OPINIONS PLEASE?

HAHA I found thos Foam Squares in the sides of the chassis, now they are more usefull. Fuzzy dice hanging like testicals. my best fab job ever.

And doing some fitment decisions for the sideimpact Xbars with the stock seat.....

And then this happend....

Here is my new car....soon she will have her own posts in this thread as well.

lol, i found one of those little foam dice hiding in my Apillar area when i was stitch welding it, only i found it after the whole pillar was engulfed in flames.. i ran around for a few seconds trying to find something to put it out with, ended up pouring a gallon of lemonade on it. melted a little of my windshield and left me with a huge sticky mess to clean up... Now i have either a fire extinguisher within 2 feet of the car or a gallon of water lol.
