I mean, unless you're a rural mailman and the USPS is somehow paying to convert the car to RHD there's really no point. It's just a silly fanboy conversion that's far more work than it's worth.

dont listen to these haters they are just jealous.

Do your research and convert your car to RHD. It will dramatically increase the value and its perfectly legal if you do it right.
from what I see, that is a very clean clip. I see some good stuff in there. That radiator and fan shroud alone is worth $150+

I see some A/C components as well. Very clean dash. good find.

Adding it up, you can nickel and dime that clip out and have paid zero. Those strut tower mounts are worth something if they are good probably $40~+
I also see a Side mount intercooler. thats another $50-$120 depending where you sell it (I would sell on ebay for $88 + shipping).
obviously if the shocks are good and the front shocks are there that is worth a hundred or more all together.
And the brakes/rotors is probably worth something, not much but every little bit counts.

JDM cluster is worth something. Not sure how much but at least $50+
power steering res plus lines another $40~

And that leaves you with the dash, steering rack, firewall, pedals, etc... to do your RHD conversion. An OEM 1992 240sx with absolutely NO modifications besides RHD conversion instantly goes up in price over a thousand dollars.
IF ITS DONE RIGHT. Take pictures of every little thing that is done. If the work is not clean, it wont be worth a damn nickle. car value will drop.

Considering people would buy a front clip and throw the clip away after pulling what they need for the swap...yes, you over paid. I'd pay $700 for that if it had the body panels.

This.

Back in the day at least 50% of swaps where done with a donor front clip. 50% of SR swapped cars are not RHD - this tells me most of these parts ended up in the scrap yard.

I was a prick earlier, but these threads are useless...

If you want to do a RHD swap and have the skill, knowledge and means available, by all means go ahead. I personally think its a waste of time and money. In the end, you can buy a RHD 180sx and drive it legally, on the street without having to "swap" it.

Check out his build. He has a pretty trick bracket that relocates the starter to the left side.

You'll have to get the flex-plate and starter out of an Australian car. This way you can swap them. I think you may also need the transfer case from an Evo III and have it welded up to clear the firewall.

There was a guy NICO that did this. You should see if they can help you as I don't remember his name.

Always thought this conversion was stupid. I wouldn't put it on my car if I got everything for free.

But to each his own.

$700 is way too much.

It looks like someone bought a SR20DET swap, took the Silvia front, and sold you the junk he was going to throw away.
