Anyone from Illinois have trouble passing emissions?

Hey guys, I'm from the Chicagoland area and I have a 97 s14 with a fairly built sr20 Running on an aftermarket ECU I highly doubt my OBD-II port will even work. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get past this? Thanks!

I had this problem with my '96 ka-t. Not saying I did this, but you can register the car to another county that does not require emissions testing.

Register the car in another county. Perhaps a relative down south “owns” the car and you are a secondary driver.

Or sell the car to a family member for $1 and pay the title/plate transfer and drive til emissions come up again.

Surprised no one has made a dummy obd port at this point.
