Due to the lack of interest and short notice of this event, Jeff (at Heavy Throttle) brought up a good point about the Beaver Run event being cancelled with 3 months advanced notice ,due to lack of participants. We have three weeks and with the eight forums this is posted on I have about 7 people 100% dedicated and this is not convincing enough to front a NON refundable down payment of $1300. I appreciate Jeff at Heavy Throttle and the people who were intrested and giving their support of helping us promote this event but its not enough, it seems more fit that this event should be held in the spring. Hopefully the support will their next time.

Thanks,
MIKE

Jeff was right. The planning for these events is off. They are aimed at the end of the season when most North East guys are going back to school and are short on funds.

Run them at the start of the spring summer. Plan them around college breaks. That way guys can run home get their cars and tires and rip it up at a track.

yeah id be down for limerock but I'd have to tow it there and we'd have snow drift events. I propose we(someone planning these) do a limerock or somewhere in southern tier NY in the spring, like mayish. May 20th is usually the end of college finals week and good weather for people to drive down. Load the hatch up with the Z wheels and have fun.
