What style intercooler design are these (tube and fin or bar and plate), and is there any performance data out there for them? I'm very interested in getting in on this gb, but I want to justify the extra cost over a blitz before I do it.

Blitz LM - US-MSRP $1080.00 (24" x 10.5" x 2.5")

ARC -
{M073= 260x 500x 70mm w/ mild steel piping, US-MSRP $1655.00}
{M073-AL= 260x 500x 70mm w/ Aluminum piping}
{M073*= 300x 600x 70mm w/ Aluminum piping}

Both are tube/ fin design but the ARC has a very superior design.
1. The Fins are recessed to force air through more effectively.
2. ARC has also developed their own "micro" tubing that is used in all their oil coolers and Radiators.
3. Fins are also waved so that air hits evey part of the fin, dissipating heat as its passing through.

Honestly, the BLITZ LM is a weak compairison, other than the fact that I am offering a $1600 IC for the same price as a BLITZ LM!!

Here are some Pics also...

Peace

Does it come with all the required hardware (hoses, clamps - t bolts?, etc).
Do the pipes come coated at all? You can see a picture below where the pipes are black.

And is the price with or w/o shipping?

I found some pictures through freshalloy that I think make a great sell

Thanks for the pics... All hardware and hoses included, as shown in the first post images.
Sorry, price is low enough, shipping is not included and will be determined once product arrives in the U.S.

{M073= 260x 500x 70mm w/ mild steel piping} as seen in post 4.
{M073-AL= 260x 500x 70mm w/ Aluminum piping}
{M073*= 300x 600x 70mm w/ Aluminum piping}

The stock replacement side tank intercoolers are no longer listed on the ARC website.

Peace

There would be almost a third less pipe with the cross flow. I think the cut back would make use of stock cut outs for the sidemount (jdm vehicles), so no cutting would be required. It would also make use of the stock cold pipe in that case (hence why its not even more expensive I'm sure). I would think you would only want to order this if you were too lazy to relocate your battery/cut a hole in the battery tray.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

And thanks for taking the time to answer questions Drew.

The shorter the distance between the Turbo and the Throtle Body the faster the turbo will spool. This is why you see V-mount set-ups on Race Cars.

If I remember right the side pipes are 80mm... perfect for consistant sized piping with 80mm Z32 or 90mm Q45 MAFS and a 70mm GTi-R Throtle body.

lotusdrift: no prob.

I am counting orders, not a show of hands.

Counting hands never works out... if people are seriously interested they can make the commitment by placing an order.

You expect me as a dealer to be seriouse about your orders, and I expect the same of the customer.

So far... No Orders... Group Buy Ends April 29th.

Peace
Drew

I dunno why he said the ARC website doesn't list the sidemounts any more. Aren't these the stock location applications? S13-S15 right there.....

Can you get all the ARC intercoolers or is this group buy just for S chassis applications?

Even if this listing was for a Side Mount, the price is the same as a Front Mount.

The Group Buy was for all ARC Intercoolers not just Silvia's... to much to list!
