Ka24de turbo manifold/updates..

a few weeks ago i posted some pics of my ka24de turbo manifold with a t25 flange. i removed it to weld on an external wastegate. spent half a day doing this and found that it did not fit. So all and all, i fixed it 3 times.
the manifold is made to use the sr20det turbo outlet and downpipe.
soom problems i've had with getting this setup is that the downpipe is angled towards the block. i had to weld a bracket on the downpipe to help push it away from the block. the other thing is that the sr20det downpipe mounting point at the trans is pushed back about 2inches. not a real problem but for me it is not really a straight bolt in.
everything else lines up real good. I have an s14 Hybrid intercooler kit and the hot pipe lines right up. i had to cut the tip off the hotpipe cause it is a 2in pipe nad my turbo is 2.5.

here are the pics enjoy:

What intercooler do you have? Looks like the ones I find on ebay. Are you using a MIG welder?

where does your wastegate pipe connect?? It looks like it comes from one of the runners? If so, I wouldn't think that is a very good way to do it.. ??

the wastegate tube is connected to the side of the collector. can't see it though. it is on the side of the block.

this is a hybrid intercooler from power digger. got it when the price was $430. the price is to high now. it is almost the same price as a greddy.

this is a prototype manifold.just to see how to run the tubings and placement of the turbo.

So has anyone else have this downpipe problem mentioned above?
