After this vid, I started looking for beat-up, shitty 240s to drift with.

I love grip. I live for faster cornering and deceleration. But this... this is something else. It lets go of everything serious and replaces it with something fun and stupid and awesome. This is the reason I got into S-chassis in the first place. It isn't a revolution, but it is something I haven't seen in a while, and something I don't think I'll ever see as long as I live on the west coast.

A few years ago, I wrote a treatise on the direction the 240 world was going; this was not among my expectations. This is ridiculous and outrageous and real. This is something my brother, who's a car guy but has an essentially stock car, had to show his girlfriend (who doesn't have a car) because it was so fucking awesome. This is something that makes your brain buzz with the excitement of possibilities.

It really excites me to see that someone gets the point of what we are doing. It is all about having fun, and no worries. It isnt about having flashy cars, or fitment. Its about being able to push the limits and not having any consequences.

the S14 I am driving was a chassis that one of my buddy's totaled
the car wasn't street worthy, or worth fixing (fixing right)
but was a perfect candidate for having fun.

this was it

strut tower moved back 2 1/2 inches

the only way i could get this into my shop

i pulled what i could, cut and replaced a section of frame rail

used some square tubing to conncet the rad suppor to upper frame rail.
used intrecooler and piping i had laying around and i had a perfect missile car

We filmed this video over 3 days, this car was awesome the entire time.

this was at the end of the weekend

opening scene with my real car

i am currently prepping it for another full season of thrashing and having fun as a practice car so i can keep my comp car fresh

if anyone that enjoys seeing what we do/what i do, check out my FB page and be in the loop of what I am doing professionally and for fun!

With that said, what were the rules at Etown? Don't screw up the first 100' on the strip? Few of us who've been to strip rental days always found it funny how they were pretty much open to us doing anything there for them.

I'm down for taking salvage cars and beating them up more as long as it serves a purpose. I only hate when people buy clean chassis and crash them because they were "pushing so hard" and "it's just a 240sx".
