OEM Navan Markets

Might be a fairly obvious answer, but can't seem to find any info in an admittedly half-assed cruise through google/zilvia...

Which markets offered Navan aero, was it Japan only? Came up talking to a couple buddies a while ago, and nobody seemed to know for sure.

Cheers.

^^^ Japanese factory options only

Also, a small amount of Navan interior parts were offered for the S13 in Japan too.

Eyh, I'd look at something Goodrich produced. The last thing I'd ever want to go 'affordable' with are brake lines...

I'd love to, but they don't seem to be doing them for s13 with z32 brake swaps.

EDIT: Nevermind, just couldn't find it on enjuku. I'll go with them thanks.

Is the clutch slave cylinder the same between SR and KA?

Wife told me that the clutch pedal sometimes doesn't come all the way back up, like it sticks halfway. Figured I'd try replacing the master and slave cylinders.

master cylinder is the same, slave cylinder is NOT. i believe you need to use a slave cylinder from a 91-94 KA24de and NOT an 89-90 KA24e (both will work, 91-94 KA slave is whats meant for the tranny though as its slightly larger).

Guess I should've specified that this is an S14 with S14 SR. Can I use a KA slave on an SR trans?

If I remove the factory hood anti theft switch for a 1995 SE will that prevent my from starting? Replaced Starter and Ignition Switch my car is getting fuel and spark, but is not cranking at all. Turn the key with no noise bypassed clutch safety as well and does nothing. If I take the key out some dash lights stay on in the same area around the check engine and my power windows will still work for some reason.

Ok, i know that an o2 sensor is supposed to sweep from 0-1 volt in closed loop.

Is it supposed to still sweep regardless of whether the engine is running lean or rich?

Im having a misfire issue at idle and noticed that when it starts missing, the o2 stays pegged at 0 volts. My afr goes full lean as well. Its not a constant misfire either, just a hiccup if you will.

I have a question, in my neighborhood there is a lady who has a 280zx and it looks like it is mint condition and it is a 1979, I was just wondering what a good price for that would be.

Thanks

I highly doubt anyone swapped the body harness of a 240SX to that of an SR powered car. There's simply no need, unless it was a BARE shell with no wiring at all. How do you know the car has an SR20 harness?

Are you getting 12 to the starter? Are you getting 12v to the starter signal wire when you key over? First two places I'd check.

The o2 should always 'sweep' back and forth, regardless of closed or open loop. Now with that said, obviously only in closed loop operation does the ECU utilize the O2 for actual air fuel

With that considered, at idle, the ECU does not utilize o2 sensor, as it's in open loop. Even if warm, at idle, (if the TPS shows off) it doesn't use the o2 for anything.

As far as activity, You should see it swing back and forth pretty actively...it it only swings 5 or 10 times a minute then the o2 is starting to fail, and closed loop operation will suffer.

With all of this considered, you can also run the car in total open loop by disconnecting the o2 sensor. May be worth it just to try something.

Whatever you want to pay. It's up for the owner to decide if your offer is what they want to sell it for.

The Centric replacement has the same part number for S14 & S13, so must be the same.

How does one test the dual pressure switch on the S13 KA AC system?

The system is recharged. The relay is good. It blew cold before sitting for a while.

From the Centric/Stop Tech tech:

For your 240, there are basically only a few brake parts. 4 lug, and five lug, pre '96 ABS and Non ABS, and 96 forward since Nissan used ALL ABS sized brake parts post '96. Now I have not personally tested this, BUT, my '96 SE, manufacture date July '95 uses all 'ABS' rotors and parts, as does my son's '97 kouki, neither car being an ABS car. The rotors, Master and slave cylinders, calipers, are all the same.
My first zenki, an auto SE, manufacture date July '94, non ABS, five lug used the slightly smaller '95 non ABS parts...until it got totaled 3 weeks after I bought it.(Lesson here, never let your ol lady take your car to work, because idiots making left turns into oncoming cars will hit it. She was just sitting there when the big caddie SUV caused the destruction of a rental Sentra, my 240, and frontal/right front damage to her own SUV. Wait, bigger lesson...women should simply NOT drive. This is why they invented busses and taxi's)
