I dunno. 5th stage isn't impressing me the way previous stages did, especially 4th stage. There's not so many really cool moments in the races like before. It's just Takumi & Keisuke blowing through a bunch of chumps on their way to the Pros.

This season seems rushed. I know for a fact they're cutting some stuff out so they can finish up in about 15 episodes. But I really wanted to see this one part from the manga when Takumi was coming home from the beach with his new girlfriend in the Impreza and he had to use his race skills to avoid an accident on the highway. Kinda annoyed that they cut that out. As light as Initial D is on storyline, I think it only hurts the show to have them cutting even more out of it.

Also annoyed that N/A Miata's and MR2 spyder's are keeping up with the 86's TRD Atlantic motor like its nothing. Oh and yet another 86 vs 86 race for the finale? Come the fuck on, man.

^^^Ditto. That shit is lame. Fifth stage is only marginally better than Wangan Midnight now, IMO. They've exhausted all the coolest ways to possibly win a race, now the Project D boys just run so hard that opponents just wreck trying to keep up. I miss the old clever finishes.

But I keep watching for the inevitable Takumi vs Keisuke rematch.

Watched Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22 yesterday, have 3 saved for later tonight. Not knowing anything about the series kind of had me lost at first but I really like it now.

Started watching Angel Beats last night. Never before have I had feelings for a character by the third episode... And the fourth or fifth episode "test taking" is hilarious!
