Like body kits? No sir. Possibly brick headlights though. But for that to happen my car will disappear for a couple weeks and show up with it all painted.

hey thanks man. yea i love them, but im getting some coil bind arg!!! will fix this soon. but for now.
so i had a pretty productive day today. first try at body work. ehh only time will tell. we previously welded qtr size plates on the back to fill in the holes and painted them to stop from rust. we brought it back to bare metal. and then started to fill in the holes. and then finished filling in all of them. and after it set up we started to sand away. ashy lary hands while sanding threw on some high build primer to find high spots, smoothed out a little more and this is what we had. quick pic of how smooth we got it first coat of semi flat black. bordem got the best of me. donkey kong. two coats black, two coats gloss. no wetsanding or buffing on this yet. no more holes they have me boxed in. i found some of the clear coat run. so sad, will be able to wetsand out no biggie. all in all it wasnt bad, or hard. just took patients. i wouldnt attempt this on something large like a fender or whatever. but was a lot better than i predicted. |

swapped out my ic pipping today. was a little more time consuming than i thought. had to do a little trimming to fit correctly where my ic was. overall im happyish with it. the bov location is shit imo. recirc from there will not be easy so i think i will pick up another around the time i grab pbm recirc intake. but here is todays work.
old stuff, hot side bov making it harder to recirc, not to mention it leaks. to many connections and areas to develop a leak new stuff, cold side bov, 2 less connections. intake pipe fits much better, iacv tube doesnt fit so well, will need to fix later. old stuff coming off. i didnt take as many pictures because its easy and cold and i was by myself. slowing down on most engine stuff for now. will concentrate on interior over the winter. |

so i had some extra time after work. got rid of the r32 steering wheel i think is what it is. and put on a stock s13 wheel while i wait for my grip royal. so nice that turn signals go off on their own now and to have a horn.
some minor tugging from side to side and yay! not the cleanest wheel ever but i have signals and horn, but its better while i wait for my grip royal. thanks brohas. |

ok so. yesterday we went on swapping trans. it was a lot easier than i thought it was going to go, with no major issues. all in all it took us about 7-8 hours for everything. new flywheel, clutch, cms, sc, trans, pilot bearing, pivot bushing, bearing sleeve, tob, clutch line, all new fluids, and bleed. i took a video of before the trans swap during the summer and ill have to find it but for now.
getting ready to start removing shifter, now at this point i was the one doing the work and no one else was really wanting to grab the camera, so i am sorry to say i dont have any during. but here is the old one out. new flywheel on. clutch on. new bearing sleeve, tob, pivot ball. and im 90% sure thats all that i took. ill finish up taking the rest today. here is before, clutch would depress a little overnight from bad fluid, and shot cms and sl. grinding in 2nd. sr20det 240sx clutch grind - YouTube |
