Some shots of the new combined frontmount, radiator, powersteering res and radiator overflow. They all go in/out as one piece now. But can also come out separately if need be. (bar the front mount)





New twin pump surge tank setup. Nothing in the car and the second pump is only activated when our preset injector duty cycle level is met to prevent heating the fuel unnecessarily. Also no fuel lines inside the car which is a plus.


Apparently some sort of organic steam cleaning process being undertaken after a "snack pack".

Hypertune make great looking throttle bodies no doubt about it. =)

You probably have a point there. Although all our buildings are not really made for cold conditions nor are are clothes so yeh compared to properly cold places. 4degrees C ends up feeling pretty damn cold!

The new super sparkle black, still not finished yet though needs to have a cut back and another coat of clear before its done.


Once thats done it should look glassy smooth.


P12 coilpack cover looks nice I think, very functional on the street too keeping water off the coil packs with the vented bonnet.


All the oil plumbing completed for the turbo.

Brakes took afew coats of red, Brembo stencils can be put on later.

Its not actually a custom mix its a one off colour released by a company. I'll try find out what its called for you. Its near impossible to get though apparently our painter came across some somehow.

The start up specs from Mazworx say that the motor should be cranked without compression and without the rocker cover on to check that oil pressure is building ok and the oil spray bars are working for the cams. Some shots of the head with no cover on it.

The P11 Rocker cover gaskets for around the spark plug holes are a totally different size to the P12 ones we found out last minute. They're the same as S15 so luckily the local Nissan dealership had them in stock so a mad dash was done to go buy a set. When they go in they only just fit on the outside of the ring around the hole.


Can see the Supertech goodies in this shot.


Tomei cam gears are used also you can see the hole drilled with a screw cap bolt in it. This is for the mazworx trigger setup we might move to something like that later but for now the CAS will do.

The fuel system was almost completed in these shots with just the final connections of the pumbing to be done. Consisting of two Pierburg pumps capable of -360L/h the second one only kicking in once a certain injector duty cycle is reached (set to whatever is appropriate). Both pumps on the side of the surge tank. None of the system goes into the car apart from the wiring of the pumps.

We were really happy with how compact and neat it turned up to be.


Teflon lines for the last part cause it was to hard to get the hard lines up in here.


Hardlines the main length of the car with an inline filter. This stuff is super light and self supportive so it doesn't need to be braced onto the chassis nearly as much as soft line does.


Small amount of rubber line has to be used to connect to these pumps as they dont have threaded ends on them which is a slight downside.

Super sparkle cover on for the first time along with the catch can plumbed up.



Waste gates and dump pipe all installed a lot of mucking around to get this all done the bolts that come with the V-Bands from turbo smart dont fit. This was my job to fit so I in particular found this very annoying!
Thankfully Dennis from Grimm was still open and had some which fitted. (Thanks)









Andrew spent the whole day sorting last minute things out with ecu tests and a million other tiny jobs and was able to do the first start. The car then got towed to Unigroup to be run in on the dyno and get everything bedded in and find potential issues. One thing other than some small leaks we found was that the VVL solenoids were not working properly so the car was towed back home to get that fixed along with the heap of work still to be done on everything else.
