Usually the problem with S15 dash installs that I've seen is that they don't line up with the firewall/windshield at all. You'll notice that is cropped out of all of those photos. Kawabata's D1 S13 has this problem as well.

Well that's exactly why it doesn't impress me. It's not hard to fit a dashboard into a car when there is nothing for it to fit to... there's nothing to judge how well it fits. I don't give any slack in the interior thread

Well, having a 6 point roll cage in a street car isn't the smartest thing to have. You could crack your skull in an accident. Otherwise your interior is clean.

Well after 4 years of immature comments by you involving the same damn topic every single time, I have decided I really don't like you. Hell, I'm not even the one that put the cage in the car... the previous owner did. In the past I have thought about removing it several times considering I don't track it or anything, but just didn't feel there was any good reason to do so since sourcing new mint rear panels, carpet etc. would be a pain. My head doesn't come anywhere close to hitting it. I'm short, I have the lowest seats possible and the car usually only gets driven back and forth to work on a daily basis in the summer. The cage is actually out of the car right now since it is stripped... so I have seriously thought about just leaving it out since I do not put it to use. I agree, it would be safer to not have it all. But the chance of me obtaining a head injury from it is slim-to-none.

The bigger question is why you feel the need to comment on my car having a cage when we were talking about an S15 dashboard fitting in something besides an S15!?!

LOL well, that is my opinion. How is that immature? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That s15 dash installation is clean. It may not be complete with door panels and all, but it's a track car and serves its purpose, that's all =)

Toby is right though, in my opinion anyways.

I'm only doing a small modification to my regular S13 dash in my 180 for my cage, and that on it's own is time consuming and tedious. Essentially putting in a dash without having to modify basically anything to match up to nothing doesn't take much skill nor classify as clean.

Sure it looks good but there wasn't much effort put into it, (to fit in his chassis) in my opinion.

He has no additional interior pieces to "perfectly" fit in harmony with each other. But hey, I still love the look of an S15 dash no matter what the case.

The dash is clean. The installation is not complete enough to say that it is a "clean install". Track car or not. Any one could bolt nearly any dash into nearly any completely stripped out interior.
