ok so i may have an issue but im not sure yet. upon further inspection of the wheel. i have found that the mounting point of the wheel has a raised area in the back from where one of the spokes comes from. wtf, how the hell is this supposed to mount????

with 8.25 you don't have a gap from the finder to your rim? and oh, i didn't know the next size up is 9.75, that sucks =/, and if i had money id get some polished RPF1's 17x9 & 17x9.5 for supremely sexy fitment but I'm just gonna go 17x9 all around.

lol you need to do some research man. you have no idea what you are talking about.
i think you mean offset, which i didnt mention. but its +25. but just saying +25 wont tell you where your rim will sit, you need to know the width as well. but no it wont be hella flush like im sure you are thinking it should be. but it will be flush like a nice clean car.

im not talking about offset, and I'm talking about flush not hellatrendyflush. your not using spacers are you? I'm curious what those rims would look like without spacers w/ that width. i have 5 lug s14 SE rims on my S13 on stock suspension its the ugliest looking shit ever lmao.

how flush a rim sits is offset and width. so yes. you are talking about offset. but it will be flush not hellaflush or hellasunk. nothing crazy. just clean. you will see tomorrow.

so i got a bunch more parts in. but its still not done.
there is an exhaust somewhere in there.

some more parts frsport sent meh. its odd, ive spent a couple grand with them. not a single shirt or sticker. i get stickers from everywhere else but them. gey. anywho.

i did get my grip royal on. not happy with it at all. the paint started cracking as i hand spun the bolts in.... the hub is sweet though. i got to keep my turn signals and horn. i will probably order a nardi soon. got rims and tires on today as well. needs to go lower, but first i need to roll my fenders and qtrs. will update with pics of those post haste.

and i took a pic of the drip royal just to show its on. im not happy with it at all. but oh well.

this weekend i should get a lot done, i was wanting my turbo to be here by tomorrow but i dont think its going to be here till monday. but ill still get some interior and engine stuff done. more updates later!

its a megan type 2. it looks very close to stock but still keeps a 3" pipe for the turbo. the muffle is a flow through canister style, would have rather had a muffler. but i have a high flow cat and it sounds very very quiet so i can complain. ill throw pics and vids up of it later.

on to today. got some extra time to get my new little cooling system done.

everything going on.

got old and busted pulled

old water pump and therm

new pump and therm. the only real issue i had up to this point. is the studs on the water pump. the new one didnt come with any. so i had back all the others out, and actually semi stripped one. but its all good. all on. just future reference. purchase some so you dont have to take all that spare time doing what i did.

hoses and rad back on. everything burped, and running fantastic. ordering a nice coolant overflow soon. my current one has a hole....

easiest install of anything ive ever done. all in all this took about 30 min.
dropping old 1 piece apexi spec

side by side, i like how the bends in the megan and made to fit my chassis than the slight angle on the apexi.

got it snugged up and checking clearance. nothing is rubbing it touching.

further away tightened.

overall it sounds pretty much the same, maybe a tiny bit deeper, but i was going for more looks with this purchase. its stayed very quiet which is what i love.

before

after

my one gripe is i dont like how low it hangs around the diff. it is higher than the apexi, but im going to probably chop and raise it.
