hi. i'm looking to build a track car out of a 240sx, i would like to have a quick 1/4 (12-13 sec), but probably be a better AutoX car. would an S13 or an S14 chasis be better? i kinda like the look of the S13 better, but looks dont really matter that much (at all) to me since it's just going to be for the track.
so does anyone know the curb weights of the 2 cars? anyone know how much an sr series engine weighs in either of the cars? and can you swap engines between different chasis types. like put a s15 sr20det in a s13 chasis. thanks for answering my dumb questions, but i'm kinda new to the nissan world =) -- Jarrett |

Both chasis are good, I would go with the S13 because they are slightly lighter and cheaper.
240's depending on models range in weight from ~2700lbs to~2900lbs yes you can swap engines from S15 or S14 into a S13 but its not worth the extra money when you can just upgrade the S13's sr20. |
