NissanParts.cc | Planted Seat Bracket Technology

We are very proud to announce that nissanparts.cc is now an official dealer for Planted Seat Bracket Technology. These brackets are made locally and if we dont have them on the shelf they are readily available in a timely manner.

We are currently working on adding the product lineup to our site. These are only up for the S13 & S14 right now. If you have another application you are intersted in contact me by PM or phone 360.352.8558.

PRICING:
BOTTOM MOUNT BRACKETS $140 PER SIDE
UNIVERSAL SIDE MOUNT BRACKETS $79.95 PER SIDE

Planted vs. the competition?
Planted brackets are stronger! They are made from 3/16th inch steel making the welds stronger and more durable. The Planted bracket will not bend or warp with heat whereas other brackets can be bent by hand.

Which aftermarket seats work with Planted Seat brackets and what makes them so easy to use?
Planted brackets are more versatile with predrilled slots for sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers like Sparco, Recaro, OMP, Cobra, Racetech, Status, Corbeau, Bride, Momo, etc. There is also extra material for direct mounting when the driver wishes to eliminate sliders altogether.

It all comes down to price?
We agree, and we are sure you will be pleased to know that Planted seat brackets and side mounts are less expensive then most of the competition and in fact when others raised their prices....we didn't.

Where are these brackets being made?
In the good ol' USA. In fact, Planted is a local family owned company and the products are manufactured in the Northwest so they are readily available to be shipped worldwide. By purchasing planted you're helping local business and the economy. It's a win-win!

How do these compare to a common rail like Bride FG, Buddy Club, Nagisa, etc?

I will buy these in a heartbeat if I have some confidence that they'll seat my Sparco Pro2000 lower than Bride FG's do.

Are you planning on running sliders? The Bride bracket incorporates the slider, correct? With the Planted brackets you do not have to run a slider with the bottom mount. You can also run the side mounts and adjust the height how you wish.

The FG's have sliders built into them yes.

Are you suggesting that in order to get my seat lower, I should use this rail and leave it in a fixed position? Do you have any pics of that?

When my seat is in, I can fit mount everest between the bottom of my seat and the floorpan, even though it's a "super duper mega low max rail".

Im working to see if I can get some pictures of the low bracket installed in a 240SX right now.

Essentially if you have a bottom mount see you can mount the seat directly to the bracket in a fixed position. You will have to drill out holes to do this, but its possible. If its a side mount seat you will have to purchase the bottom mount bracket + universal side mounts, but you still have the option of running the low bracket or standard bracket.

Okay, these images are of the Passenger Side 240SX Low Mounts Intalled on an OMP Champ Seat.

The Gray basis they have these seats displayed on have tabs that replicate the factory mounting locations on the floor. You can see them in the images if you look closely on the front.

Hopefully this clears up a lot of the questions. Let me know if you have any more!

Hmm. Pretty sure the Pro 2000 has both. So I'm assuming you'd mount the rail and drill the holes in the top to set the distance from the pedals, thereby losing sliding functions, correct?

If you find that 240 pic, I'd appreciate it (as well as higher res pics of the ones you already posted). Might be worth just to buy and check out.

You have a mounting surface right there which isn't a feature of many other rails. Having to use those side mount brackets sucks - no matter how small they'll always raise the seat up.

Thanks for the info.

I am ordering a pair for my S14 with Sparco Evo 2's as soon as I get an invoice. I will most definitely provide pictures without carpet, so there will be some high-res images of an actual S14 mount.

Russell, I've PM'ed you requesting more information. I'd like to get the order in today, so they can be shipped as soon as possible.

PM me your email and Ill send Hi-Res - we dont have images of them in a 240 right now. We do have the mounts on the display stand that mimic the 240 mounting.

I have a pair of R32 seats and I was wondering if these would be compatible or how much modification would be necessary for the low bracket rails to fit correctly.

Do you have any way to get me photos of the bottom of the seats and the current mouting locations? Email them to me at [email protected] - send them as an attachment, not links.

Bringing this back from the dead. I have a cobra seat with bottom mount holes. I assume your bottom mount will work with the cobra seat? I just might need to drill new holes in the bracket if the holes don't line up? Thanks and is it still $140 per side?

Looks nice, only thing that could go lower than this is the Nagisa with the individual mounts because you can flip them upside down and the seat bolts are actually under the rail.
