Hello, My name is Giovanni from Ontario or Simi Valley California. I'm a deaf since born. I love what i do work on car build and drift track one of most awesome challenge. how i start fell in love drift? easy answer is "Initial D" inspired me and made me wannabe like king drift ha. Anyway, I have to re post new threads due no pic show and too much fix, forget it! I hope you guys enjoy read new thread.

My first owner car is 1989 240sx fastback single cam but sad smashed it around a pole when i was drift on street. my first big mistake and learned lesson, Please stay drift at track!!!!!!!! I couldn't find a old pic of car. Then i bought other 240sx fastback ka24de swap. i never drift that car for year because i am scared to smash it again ha. here old pic









nothing special about that car only HKS exhaust full catback, wheels and front coilovers but great daily drive!

then i save money up to $8,000 for my ex girlfriend travel in Europe but end up we are broke up, i was forget about my money that time i was depressed and crazy stone everyday. one day i woke up and found my save money then decide to spend on new car. I bought other same 240sx fastback with sr20det 300 whp. it good for begin learn drift and daily drive

that day i bought new car same time got new wheels




i fear to see cop pull me over pop hood, i think i better paint cover engine bay any polish and any noticeable color.













then i found i have power steering fluid leak from high pressure hose then i order Chase Bay Power Steering Kit



Installed everything was good but still small fluid leak from fitting hose on reservoir, i tried fix leak issue and know what fuck it i will leave it alone only small leak. Chase bays is not best products they need work on that.



Anyway, i been think about drift at track.... I'm chicken to drift because my last time drift smashed year ago. my brother said you told me you want become professional drifter? i said yeah, true then lets go hit adam drift night first time.

end up I'm very suck drift spin, out of control, and shit big time but I'm not give up keep go practice hard.



drift night over, totally very embarrassed and never go back drift track again but i have a hard time back to sleep and obsessed what happen at drift track. i feel like angry and frustrated about why i made mistake a lot how to drift. i looked youtube over again over again.... again go back to drift track. Same shit and nothing improve then next week again go back to drift track after 4-5 week finally i got it and improved a bit.

i still don't satisfaction myself enough then car got beat up by drift and many broke parts, found turbo blown, header cracked, exhaust catback bend, and more. of course i fixed everything money too expensive that part drift sport oh well i still love drift.

after fixed.. new rebuild gtir t28, s14 power steering kit, welded crack header, welded crack intercooler, new custom exhaust, new STI 550cc injectors, and more

car got better drift same as me got improved drift too.

i was so happy but sad turbo blown again! i start hate turbo issue somehow friend name Spike Chen give me a ride his rx7 fd with ls1.... i already fell in love LS1 then everything are change that i sold sr20 and earn money fund for ls1 swap into 240sx

Good job man its sooooo cool to see someone improve like this! Your build and your story are very inspiring and really cool!

The title "deaf drift build" is actually what caught my attention...My girlfriend is going to school to be an audiologist and she currently works as an office manager at a hearing aide clinic so i had to check this out and show some love/support!

Keep up the good work and dont ever let any haters stop you! I'll stay tuned to this thread for sure. I cant wait to see more!!!

Im back! lets start with part out sr20 and how get firebird tran am for so so cheap.

around time i decide to sell sr20 engine and everything






Sold 90% parts for around $3500 then I'm look at Copart.com and found 2000 Firebird Trans Am 75,000 miles engine running and no accident, sell in Sacramento. I won bid it for $1800 plus tax and tow total $2200 not bad price!



Of course I did drove test pretty good torque then i was so happy to have that engine gonna in my 240sx but end up i drove test again want to feel it again..... boom! engine blow up and block cracked by rod broken! Can't believe this shit happened to me... i feel so sick that pull engine out and took cylinder head off when i see inside cylinder bore are fuck ugly ever i see!









i wish i pull engine out for rebuild before drove test that so sick in tummy. But Good News CPR Engine from tv show race street, name is Anthony was interested in Firebird Shell traded for L33 long block plus i paid him for rebuild engine.

After made deal w him, i waited 6-7 months for him finish rebuild my engine.

anyways, i wanted you know what drift sign language is? I taught one word sign language to Formula Drift Driver at Long Beach

Inspiring build man. I'm hard of hearing as well, I have hearing aids. Granted, not completely deaf, but its very significant. Anyway, absolutely loved reading through this thread. Definitely has me motivated to finish my build. Keep it up and I look forward to seeing future posts!!!

i got new tools and tool box





Shit got other tool box but don't fit in garage no room but i decide put it in bedroom use that for clothes storage haha


i got brand new craftsman tools over 600 pcs for free! Big thank to school!


i got $400 gift from snap on then bought 1/2 impact gun cordless awesome!

I haven't work on car since July till finally i bring car to Pierce College for Fab Chassis class so i can use their weld machine, take advantage! But it only 4 week short because of Winter Class SUCK!
