I'm thinking of switching over to Helio, and grabbing that ocean phone, at the end of this month. I just wanted some opinions, before I did that. I live in Hawaii, but i'd like to know, how their customer care, phone features, phone quality, etc. Thanks for looking.

They are a MVNO using Sprints network. If you get good Sprnt/Nextel coverage you should be fine.

They are pretty damn expensive for what they are...My sis wants one, but there is no way in hell I would let her get it.

What makes you say that? The Ocean sells here, for 250 dollars, with a 2 year plan, IIRC. Which is not bad, considering how many features that phone has. Real time instant messaging, 2 mp camera, video capability, supposedly some pretty fast web browsing, since it's a 3g phone. I mean, a sidekick costs about the same, or even more. I currently own an sk3, and I really think it should have more features, a better screen, etc.

I have Helio. the Drift =)

I'm about to trade it in for the Ocean though.

And the camera is amazing for a cell phone camera with the proper lighting.

I'v never had any dropped calls unless I'm in walmart
