I am thinking of buying a 97' 240sx and swapping a SR20.  Is there any market for reselling the KA?  What do people usually get? Im sure it would have fairly low miles.  This would really help to offset the cost a little.  Thanks a lot-

you can sell it for about $600+ with the ECU and trans.
i bought a 95 KA for $400 when i first bought my car (SOHC) i wanted to switch to the DOHC, and i found out i needed lots of other parts ECU, wiring harness, power steering lines, speedometer. I took $75 worth of parts off that motor, and still sold it for close to $300. the motor only had 55,000 miles on it too. there is indeed a market for them. robthechef even contacted me about the motor, but shipping to california would have been more than the motor. so if you sell it, they have to pick it up from you.

i drove all the way from st louis, to springfield, and bought the KA from a rich 17 year old kid with a SR in his S14, couple years later i sold it to someone from kansas city, he is currently building it up for a turbo <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

go to your local high school. &nbsp;find one of those ricey honda kids and tell him that the KA swap is the trendiest new swap around. &nbsp;then try to talk him in to trading you seats so he can get that "stock Nissan" theme going. -well, i thought it was funny.
