Rod Bearings Loose During Assembly.

Hey guys. I'm rebuilding my KA, had a bad rod bearing. I replaced the bearings and noticed that they seem loose! Plasti gauge was within spec I believe. Is this just because there is little lubrication? I did use a little assembly lube. I'm really hoping that they aren't suppose to be oversized bearings. I've tried searching with no prevail. No that is not right at all. Did you have an machine work done on the crank? If so, you definitely need oversized bearings. Ive never seen any play like that unless it had a spun bearing

Nope, never had any machine work done, last owner must have! I have a friend with a stock crank, should o switch cranks instead of going switching rod bearings? Or should I measure and get correct bearings for my crank?

Bump? Would like to know wether or not I should get a stock crank, or buy oversized bearings.

Yes, and no.

Truthfully, I'd be measuring that rod end too, if it's egg shaped may as well use it for a door stop

If the other crank is in good condition I'd go that route
