KA KA24 no ignition or fuel

Hey guys, any help much appreciated in advance.

A little preview: after rebuilding my engine i dropped it in the car, everything seemed to go well, i deleted all the emissions, ac, and some random useless stuff, i connected all the wiring, checked it 3 times, everything looks good.
I was trying to crank the engine, i heard the fuel pump kicked in, all the lights on the dash came on, but when i started cranking it, nothing happen, starter was working i heard compression in the engine, but it didnt even try to run. i was getting fuel in the rail. but it seems like injectors dont do anything, so as ignition, i checked it and got no spark, which is really confusing to me. the only thing that i could think of is ecu, but i never touched it, it was working perfect befor the rebuilt...

Let me know if u have any ideas what could be the problem, because im so frustrated im about to give up on that car.

looks like ppl are not really sure...

ill ask another question...if any can answer that...

since ecu controls injectors and spark, and it based on cam positioning sensor, what if my distributor is 180 out, would that confuse ecu and it wont power up anything?

if your distributor is off by even a tooth that would do it. also check your ground wires..

If the dizzy is off by a tooth or whatever your still gonna have fuel and spark. Obviously just not at the right time. Check the ecu for codes. The cas could be bad. If you have another ecu available (sitting around or a buddies) I suggest trying that as well. When I rebuilt my engine the ecu took a shit on me. The only cylinder working was #4.

Well the engine harness grounds won't have anything to do with the battery. There's on ground on the intake mani by the coolant temp sensors and one on the driver side of the head towards the back.
