Megan Racing coilovers

OK, I was at first going to do the D2 coilovers but I have heard too much neative feedback from the owners to warrant spending that much on them. Plus, I live in the mountains in CO so cold weather will happen. Just the way things are. Anyways, I have heard many people with positive feedback for the Megan Racing coilovers. For the money, they seem like a great deal. This is a chance for the owners of this setup to explain what they like about it. Any feedback is appreciated.

There are MANY threads about these c/o's on here and FA.

What does cold weather have to do with anything? And what specifically are you looking for to persuade you to purchase these over the D2? I read on FA recently that the new redesigned D2 c/o's are a lot better then the original ones.

iirc some coilovers have um "minimum operating temperature" requirements

for lack of a better term

The minimum temp. is exactly what I am looking at as a factor for my purchase. CO is cold in the winter time, and the D2 coil-overs from what I understand have had troubls in temp. under 35 degrees. For CO, that may be too much to ask, especially in the mountains. I would want to drive at least a little in the winter time. If I could find some info making the D2 feasible for the cold, believe me I would buy them. I actualy saw them in person and they were a nice quality setup for the money. The temp. factor will play into whatever I buy though. Wow, I wish I was in phoenix.

lol, this is funny b/c I always get grilled for not searching. All I did to find a bit of info on this was hang a right at advanced search, type in D2 coilovers, and Ifound out some stuff about their temp. issues. I actually just got done talking to the factory rep. that I met in AC,NJ and he gave me the number to reach the dist. in CA. They said the shock problem has been solved and they were confident that they had gotten rid of all the "bad"shocks.
