Damn I wish I still had my hard drive or if either of my 2 old laptops still worked. I had pics seriously from 98 on when my buddy got his zenki. I dont have any cool meet pics or anything because I wasnt the one with a camera back in the heyday of Nor-cal street racing. And I wasnt going to any events down south yet.
I have been dirt poor all my life, we walked everywhere and my dad didnt even own a car until I was in my 20's. So buying my first to s13's at 20 years old was a huge deal to me! Anyway I managed to borrow $2k to pick up this coupe. This was actually my second S13 after I bought a broke down a black hatch (I was inspired by Koguchis black RPS13) for $600 and couldnt drive it because the front main was toast. I dont have any pics of the black hatch cuz I barely drove it because it was puking oil.
Anyway this is my coupe in 02, I never got to do anything with it. Because it being my first (driveable) car and my first 5sp, I ended up losing it into a wall, backwards. Hard.

BTW all 3 of the cars in that pic are totaled now.

Then I bought this POS in LA in 05. Ended up having a bent frame and collapsed piston rings. Drove it to school for a while then let it sit while I drove the GFs car to school

Kept the front end and engine put them on this shell I picked up in Oakland for $500. Rallied that in the mountains for a few years then picked up my current car.

AAAAND this is my baby, waiting to get my license back so I can drive it again.
when I got it and towed it from sac, hadnt touched anything on it yet.

Now it has a silvia front and I changed out the dual pro's for bricks after I rear ended some lady that decided it would be cool to come to a dead stop in the fast lane on the Highway 17. Anyone got a silvia hood and bumper support?

After reading through this thread, it made me want to go back and find out if I had any old pics. I found
a couple and decided to post it, so here's my story. Granted some of them wouldn't be nostalgic to others, I still
get a nostalgic feeling because I've owned the same s13 since '02 I've been out of the scene for awhile and recently came back.
Plus, making a new thread is pointless if I don't update it.

February 22nd of 2003... Yes that's an Akina Speed Stars decal and that does say IMPORT THUGS.com.

Long story short. Same guys from ImportThugs.com
became the OLD VegasDrift and VegasDrift then became what it is now.

Whens the last time anyone has seen those hub caps?

That was taken at Drift Showoff 2003.
That is me with Signal Drifter XL / Origin Aero Designer Kazuya "Chunky" Bai.

Got to see Koguchi and his red s13 doing some insane car control with the k-rails.

1st Official Vegas Drift event, I think it was labled as a justdrift event but it was pretty much our first one here.
I ended up just helping out since my car wasn't running right. Loved this car. Same event that this happened...

Saw that happen with apparently all the cali OGs that I don't know and the few vegas guys.

Signal Twins at the BFGoodrich booth. SEMA Show 2004. I liked that fog machine.

Late night street drifting in Henderson 2004.
(We all actually got caught but Henderson PD said they appreciated us
being in BFE away from neighborhoods and let us all go)

2004 setup. Note the blacked out center piece and Signal swag.

---- Long Period of School ----

Oct. 22, 2005
Won 1st Place Vegas Drift Event (Ironically at the Balcony)

2006
Blew my KA at a local event.
Went SR.
Blew SR.
Bought another SR.

2007
Put on vertex copy kit
Ran into an SUV, ended up smashing it. (Physically)
Put on s14 front
Went to balcony, ended up smashing it. (Figuratively)

Right after putting the s14 front and wheels on.

2008

Ran this setup for awhile. Kept coming back to WSIR every other month or so.

Finally painted it ($250 Maaco job)
I've never shown these images to anyone because its
proof that my s13.4 hatch can look like garbage.

This is in front of Maaco prepping it for massive overspray.

Got it back a few days later..

2009

Went back for more

and more

(Non Nostalgic - Present Day)
---- Sat in the Garage til 2011 ----

Came Back for more.

Heh, I was there. After that happened, Alex C. and I took Richard to the Chinese market area (99 Rance market) for something cold to eat...

My original 240 bought circa '05 when I finally decided my pos taurus I drove during highschool was a piece.

but it had insane rust/rot issues (didn't know 240's were such rust magnets at the time). Bought a clean shell for $200 and swapped everything over.

Then decided it would be fun to drift it in the rain, had fun for a couple days and then on the 3rd day of hooning hit a telephone pole:

That's it, my first 240. Should have kept it and just bought another shell but I was just bent at the time. Had 19's, apexi duals, 300zx brakes and a header on it (don't remember what kind).

damn, I thought you had me beat there for a sec. I've owned my chassis for 16 years straight, since spring of 1995. My mom bought it new in 1989.

I picked up my Kouki in Nov. of 03'. Geez was it hard to find parts back in the days.

Date on picture isn't right; this should be somewhere in 04'-05'

(this is the oldest picture I have online of my car but when I bought it, it was bone stock with some chrome wheels and a funky exhaust tip, LOL).

06' - Decided to go back to stock bumper & bought an HKS Hi-power ($500+ in the days).

Late 06' - Put an OEM lip on

Early 07' - KA-T

08' or 09' - Blew motor up, went back to NA KA & better condition fenders & side skirts then before.

Painted in 10'; Picture early 11' - Got it one color & better wheels

Now - Back to KA-T!

My car's been to hell and back. LOL.

Hadn't noticed this one.

Bought my First S13('92 Coupe SE AT) in Aug of '95, with 23k miles on it, $14k.

Here it is in '96 (few days before HS graduation):

Around '04, finally became 5-speed swapped and was collecting turbo parts:

Then 18-wheeler killed it in June of '04, around 180k miles on it when totalled:

Its low enough, I am not a herrafrush/slammed fan.

Do need another bumper/kit, but a stock silvia bumper would not cover the IC. Hopefully body/paint will be next year's tax return.

Im not a fan either , and it may just be the angle of the last pic and color of wheel/tire combo.

It wasnt an attempt at the obligitory "Moar Low" of zilvia. I just hink it could be a smidge lower. And you can trim a silvia bumper easily. Paint and body work will do wonders though I am sure.
