$200 complete wideband, LC-1, any good?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...art=INN%2D3769

The price seems great, I haven't found anything new thats that cheep.
Looks like it comes with everything thats needed (except a laptop, which I have) ... I also have a datalogit which I plan to use once I get a powerfc.

This a complete kit right? good stuff? Sorry if this is such a noob question, just summitracing didn't put much into their description of the product.

it is a complete kit.. the reason its cheaper is because u dont have any display and/or any "box" to interface with... everything has to be done via laptop.. or in your case you can hook it up with your power fc. I will probably be purchasing an LC-1 or LM-1 in the near future.

this link (if you dont already have it) will give you just of how it will work with your PFC.

i have a LC-1 works great. you can program the unit to output the correct signal for your powerFC, or just hook your laptop up directly. the only downside is its got a serial port connection which i doubt your laptop has, so you need to buy a USB to serial converter.

other than that its a great product. the only problem ive had is the sensor over heating, but i really dont think that has to do anything with the unit, just means i need to run a heat sink.

Thumbs up

Computer side of this is one thing I'm not worried about. I'm such a huge geek.

Thanks all for the good info!

LC-1 is everything good about the lm1 in that package.

But I would recomend the PLX devices SM-AFR its like $50 less, the same sensor as the LM/LC-1 only it has a faster update rate for street tuning.

I could swear this is like the 10th time i've posted this, no one searched?
